- A stampede at a soccer stadium in Indonesia killed 125 people and injured more than 320 after police fired tear gas to clear the crowd on the pitch. The use of tear gas is now the subject of investigation as FIFA has banned its use at all soccer stadiums. The Premier League in Indonesia will be suspended while a full investigation takes place.

The guy says, "this happened because the police didn't treat us like humans." Well, you certainly didn't like "humans", you acted like a bunch of animals storming the field and attacking a patrol car!!! I really have no sympathy for those people who take zero responsibility for their actions!!
So? Not EVERYONE on the field did nothing. Maybe even some kids who got stampeded and you’re talking about a few (less than 10% of people) storming the field. You’d feel different if you knew someone there which is sad (that you need someone there to feel).

The police fired tear gas at the stands where many in the audience their small children frantically ran down the field and into the exit hall where the doors were closed. The smoke is very spicy, it interferes with breathing and the view of the air is getting stuffy, the audience goes limp and stamps on each other
No. The stands clearly were not gassed. They threw tear gas at the people in the field attacking others and flipping cars.

same happened in Africa Ghana. police shouldnt fire tear gas into a crowd in a stadium, it would lead to stampede. the best solution is the police and players should leave. thats it. the people would rage and go home. big big mistake, countries should learn from others.

There is a documentary on how wild Indonesia soccer fans love soccer and in the documentary, you'll see why the police act violently what happened here is still wrong and people lost their lives but give the documentary a shot and it will shock you. It is titled "the world's most dangerous football league."

no one left, the exit gate is locked even after police throw the tear gas. and the casualities mostly the one who stay on their seat waiting the exit gate to open. mostly the rioters are safe and survived, because as u can see, they already on the field.
