- Hey everyone! In today's video I show you how to install Fasty's Garage RGBW LIGHTED AIR INLET TUBES on the headlights of my 2017 Dodge Challenger 392 Hemi Scat Pack Shaker. Ultimately the new mod costs anywhere between $250-$350 depending on the product that you buy. Was it worth the money?... Find out in today's video! @@SchwayZHi is there anyway to hook these up so they come on and off with the side marker lights But where you could also function them with the remote when the park lights are off ?
@rflight7678 not certain on that but I think that would function similar to the headlights where they would turn on in the evening and when you unlock the car
I have the Hellcat air box with the tube. The tube is a fiber type material, that can be trimmed to size. Considering how much the Hellcat headlight sets cost, these are a deal!!! Gotta get em!!!

So do the backs of the tubes stay open allowing air passthrough? And if so hows the inside of the engine bay behind the tubes, do you notice a lot of rain/debris go through the tubes?

i like the color options, but in CA any color other than amber or white is cause for citation.
Yeah unfortunately I think it's just for car shows unless you keep it it white or amber
Couldn't find the wiring diagram you were talking about. It just opened up to the Direct Connection parts search tool. I'm trying to add the ones with DRLs and I can't figure out which wire to use. None of the videos seem to address what I'm dealing with.
They work nice. Mine won’t change colors when my headlights are on.

Will these work with the hellcat headlight air intake box and tube combo? Not sure if it’s incompatible when you have that tube sticking out of the back of the headlight.
That's a good question. I'm not as familiar with the hellcat air box. The lighted air inlet tube doesn't stick out much from the back so you may be able to fit it in but it depends on whether the inlet tube connects directly to the headlights. The back end of the inlet tube is thicker so it might get in the way
@@SchwayZ it dose but i bet u can just cit it i have a v6 with the intake box and ur prop bonna have to vut the tuve because it fits around the back of the headlight
Is there a way to wire them to be on whenever the car is on, headlights or daytime running lights, and still turns off when the car is off?
You would have to find a wire that turns on when the car is one and turns off when the car is off. I don't know if there is a wire at the headlight that would accomplish this but you can test it by pushing the wire from the headlight tube into the wiring harness of the headlight and seeing if any of them work even when the headlights are off.
Yes, it is the headlamp "Park Lamp Control Output" (white with violet stripe wire on my 2009 SRT8) which is the daytime running lights:

What size tube, 3 or 3 1/2?
They didn't have different sizes when I ordered it...it was only 1 size option and I don't know what it was. You will have to see what looks best for you

I'm not sure. There needs to be some space behind the headlight so it may not fit if the hellcat airbox connects right to headlight
Does a Merrick Motorsport intake ring also fit there with this installed?
What happens if you already have the dodge logo can you still change it to these custom ones?

No, I never had any issues. Water gets in but it's not enough to cause issues

@@LuisMartinez-ex3gw it took a couple weeks. The first batch I got didn't match each other (color wise) so shipped them back and got new ones within 2 weeks

@@brianpage1991 the first set I had, one color was offset from the other. The second set is currently sitting in the house waiting for a new wire harness.
Can you still use the hellcat tube for the cold air intake once you install this light?
Not entirely sure. It depends on how tight the hellcat airbox sits up against the head light. This product adds a little bit of length to the headlight

Do these come on during the day or only at night when your headlights are on?
With the way I wired them, they come when I have my headlights on but you can wire them differently to your taste
Why didn’t you go straight to the battery with the positive
Because then it would always be on. Attaching it to the headlight means it only turns on with the headlights

No 2014 had different types of lights. They didn't have the hole for the intake
