Hello. I have deep feelings on this one :) I am pretty much wonderfully stuck in 70's electronica (Jarre, Tomita, Gershon…etc) so this on. I'll never stop writing music like this. I LOVE it.
@@Jorn2u the left one has the letters 'Digitakt', the right one has 'Digitone' under the LED screen... pretty sure the middle thing isn't a Syntakt either...
I decided to give this album a thorough listen, and it did nothing for me. I mean ABSOLUTELY nothing, zilch, zero, not a single thing! 10/10 highly recommend.
Love your work, Jeremy. Every time I see a video like this though I get that itch to buy more hardware, as if that's going to make me any better. Instead I'm trying to pay attention to your composition and ignore the shiny blinking lights :D
I just watched your video on scales and modes and something clicked... and came back to watch this for the 20th time and yup... I now hear the modes and can even play along with my own accompaniment. All with info that was already in my brain but scattered around in different places. 🤯
I’ve been going back to the original Soft Music album pretty often lately, and this is an amazing continuation. Equally mesmerizing, with a much different tone. I love it a lot, great work.
The first was really inspiring to me. This just continues to inspire and build on that further. Thank you for putting so much good music out into the world.
Jeremy - thank you for all that you've done here - I know from reading some of your Tweets recently that's it's not easy to keep going - but the humanity and feelings you convey in your music really come through - and on a purely technical level you show that the gear is merely a conduit for expressing the music inside you... keep the faith brother. This is fucking ace!
Still coming back to both of these. They're both simply delightful. I love that they're same same but different. Wouldn't mind a Soft Music to Do Something To. *wink wink nudge nudge*
Jeremy man I have to admit I fell off a bit when it comes to the modular stuff that's just not as interesting to me but then you drop this hot little number of some of the best music I've heard on UA-cam in quite some time, and it brought me back to those OP1 and Deluge days and reminds me you are fantastic artist and composer and we are lucky to have you.
Rapture such a luscious track, really lost myself in that one, then Genesis Night comes out and woaaahhh! Gotta love when an album changes things up like that, big ups!
This is absolutely stunning. It’s so musical. Such a difficult thing to achieve with electronic equipment. I find myself getting caught in loops and this performance is so inspiring for me. Side note: you’re killing me here, Jeremy. My digitakt is arriving tomorrow and the first track had me wishing I got the digitone (you really make it sound so beautiful). Track two though and I’m feeling a lot better about that digitakt purchase. Lol. Then track three and I feel like I can’t live without having both. 😅 Love what you do, man. Thanks for this masterclass.
Simple set up.someday I will graduate from elekTron 101 mod: cycleZz and rent a digitone keyboard or Octatrack if I keep eating well 🖖 music makes me want to live long Time 🎼🎧
This is amazing!! Do you reckon it could be possible to do something similar with a model samples and cycles? Or the gap between these machines and the digitak and digitone is too big?
Fabulous album Jeremy! Is it possible to use tracks from this one in my own videos if I purchase the album on Bandcamp? Or is there a licensing fee or something? Cheers!
I am not sure about the sound of Digitone, all I hear is square and sine waves drowns in fx , sorry not saying it’s you just in general the way it sounds. If I like it to be more ethereal and darkish masculine sounding what would be the elternative ? Great performance n you’re with talent sir !!!
when routing just the audio between digitakt and tone I find myself torn between takt because of the mixer or tone for the additional effects Any thoughts ?? 😕
Hey, amazing tracks! Could you briefly comment on how you connect the Digitakt and the Digitone (disregarding the Microcosm)? Meaning, do you have a MIDI Out from the Digitone sending and the Digitakt recieving? Where does the audio go? Thanks in advance!

Digitakt + Digitone is really all you need to make an infinite number of amazing albums. Thanks for sharing this with us!
A well-understood(how to use) Microcosm doesn't hurt either, uh?
@@CaidicusProductions RMR is a pro at all the machines he uses, for sure!
Isn't that a Syntakt, though?
@@Jorn2u the left one has the letters 'Digitakt', the right one has 'Digitone' under the LED screen... pretty sure the middle thing isn't a Syntakt either...
Lol, can't read the letters on my phone screen. I was looking at the FUNC button that seemed pink/purple. Probably lighting mirage.
track at 38 minutes nearly brought me to tears. this is so awesome :)
I decided to give this album a thorough listen, and it did nothing for me. I mean ABSOLUTELY nothing, zilch, zero, not a single thing!
10/10 highly recommend.
Geez Louise my man ~ this is incredible, and so so so well put together. Thank you for that.
some wonderfuly twinny vibes while painting my warhammer minis at 2am
That's such a good thing to be doing during this:)
Saw the interview with you and my Marketing professor. I had to take a deeper look and now I'm so interested. Thanks for sharing!
fucking amazing dude! had one of the most productive hours of the year listening to this... U gotta change that title
HeadphoneZz only CLUB.
Best ones to get the full synth bath 🚿🎼🎧
I keep coming back to this. Because it is good and I like it.
As someone with a Syntakt and Digitone, who sold a Microcosm to buy his Syntakt, I think this is going to hurt me inside (but I'm very excited)!
I do it like you. And I‘m happy with my decision. Syntakt is great… and the Microcosm sounds always the same
Love your work, Jeremy.

Esta espectacular. La voy a usar cuando este dibujando
Your channel is what got me into synths and made me buy my own. Thank you for getting me into this trait that I can’t get over with
You've been corrupted by Darth Jeremiah McRecording, Dark Lord of the Synth.
Completely awestruck at how amazing this is. Live performance no less. Amazing. Thank you.
Still amazing
I just watched your video on scales and modes and something clicked... and came back to watch this for the 20th time and yup... I now hear the modes and can even play along with my own accompaniment. All with info that was already in my brain but scattered around in different places. 🤯
Omg I didn't know there was a follow up album! ❤❤❤
I’ve been going back to the original Soft Music album pretty often lately, and this is an amazing continuation. Equally mesmerizing, with a much different tone. I love it a lot, great work.
holy shit !! so inspiring
Smooth Operator is an absolute banger. The whole album is great!
Fuck this is so good dude.
Elegy for the Infinite is gorgeous.
I don't mean gorgeous as in pretty I mean like really well composed and arranged. It's a good song man.
Thank u so much it means a lot
The first was really inspiring to me. This just continues to inspire and build on that further. Thank you for putting so much good music out into the world.
Your clear mastery of the square electron boxes is always so fun to see. Just like Soft Music 1 this is an amazing creation.
Nice! Digging the Digitakt and Microcosm. Thank you for sharing a blissed out hour of chill music with us mortals.
Elektron level 9 🎉 this is crazy. 3 boxes for Christmas and look what you came up with! Seriously impressive.
Back again and this performance still sounds so good! I'd have it on repeat if I could stream or purchase.
The synth lead in We Ascend is such an amaaazzzing sound, this is great!
This is like the non existent video game sound track I didn't know my life needed. Thank you
Yes yes yes yes I am unbelievably excited everytime I see one of these longer performance videos!

Damn that first track is banging - time to head to bandcamp I see
Still coming back to both of these. They're both simply delightful. I love that they're same same but different. Wouldn't mind a Soft Music to Do Something To. *wink wink nudge nudge*
Oh god something? SOMETHING? DO SOMETHING AHHHH
Great album! I love watching this performance. Now I have to dig through your channel for more music.

Elektron must show this amazing album to everyone on their advertisements.
Rapture such a luscious track, really lost myself in that one, then Genesis Night comes out and woaaahhh! Gotta love when an album changes things up like that, big ups!
❤You’re a wizard, Harry! thank you
A most sincere "Thank you" Jeremy. 👍
that is good stuff bro, love it.
I feel compelled to comment how much I enjoyed this music you created. Thank you
Sounds fantastic! Thanks for another banger of a performance to entertain (and educate) us all.
I'm digging that Eminence Front vibe on the first tune
Thanks for making the world a better place for ears and hearts. Deserving of many many more listens.
wow, i wanted to not like but did like. very much so.
Absolutely fantastic!
I still go back to your original music to do nothing to often. Happy to have this sequel
Thanks for the Friday soundtrack!
thank you!!
absolutely loved it, thanks for giving me nothing two do
Wonderful.
Very nice work. 👌🙏
Yessss! We now have 2 of these wonderful albums!
Awesome. My fav: Becoming Machines.
Loved the first one, my fave album of yours, stoked to see this!
THIS IS AMAZING!! Pure talent
Listening on a long night drive. Epic album, great work!
This is absolutely stunning. It’s so musical. Such a difficult thing to achieve with electronic equipment. I find myself getting caught in loops and this performance is so inspiring for me.

Love what you do, man. Thanks for this masterclass.
Goes pretty hard for soft music.
I was thinking this a couple of times.
Guilty
This is what mastery looks like. Absolutely smashed it, Jeremy!
Perfect soundtrack to finals week :)
Sounds great, Jeremy! Thanks 😀
This was excellent. Thank you!
Awesome! Great work, Jeremy!
We Ascend sounded straight out of a Tangerine Dream album. Fantastic stuff.
40:58 is absolutely fantastic!
Bittrip runner vibes @07:00 . Awesome set
what an outstanding performance !!!
simply amazing!
Really good after the first track!
9:00 i love this part ❤
This is awesome!
You're amazing.
Man this is epic!!!
Man... you really are really great! ❤❤
Incredible jams!
Love this❗❤
Nice sound✨✨
Need to change the title to: Music to play, while you pay your bills online.
Because that's what I was doing and I never felt better 😎
These are the sounds androids dream about. Love this album.
WICKED SET :D
Simple set up.someday I will graduate from elekTron 101 mod: cycleZz and rent a digitone keyboard or Octatrack if I keep eating well 🖖 music makes me want to live long Time 🎼🎧
what an example of what this swedish boxes can bring... wow Jeremy!!
Smooth operator is my fav so far
This is amazing!! Do you reckon it could be possible to do something similar with a model samples and cycles? Or the gap between these machines and the digitak and digitone is too big?
Not sure if playing in Dorian or just feeling inspired by Dorian Electra. Or both.
Джереми, это великолепно!
I'm curious to see what you would do with the Model Samples, given how ~godlike~ you are with the Digitakt.
Sounds fantastic! Inspirado!!!
I'm not going to stop listening to this to find out what a Hologram Microcosm is! What is it and what does it do? 😜
I have videos on it
OMG! This is stunning (as usual). These 3 are so powerful. Is the drum and bass a sample on 'Loving You'? it so good!
This is fucking delicious
Who needs modular…amirite? Guys?…hello?
Is everything going into the microcosm? Or just one of the magick boxes?
Just the Digitone
Fabulous album Jeremy! Is it possible to use tracks from this one in my own videos if I purchase the album on Bandcamp? Or is there a licensing fee or something? Cheers!
Awesome album
Are these project files on the DT n DN available on patreon
Bandcamp
Thanks 🙏
Is it the $8 link on Bandcamp ?
Wow! Was there any post processing applied to sounds? They sound so full and lush!
Passed the mixes through ozone but otherwise it's all what you see here.
been debating a Microcosm or an H90
That is a good question.
I am not sure about the sound of Digitone, all I hear is square and sine waves drowns in fx , sorry not saying it’s you just in general the way it sounds. If I like it to be more ethereal and darkish masculine sounding what would be the elternative ? Great performance n you’re with talent sir !!!
when routing just the audio between digitakt and tone
I find myself torn between takt because of the mixer
or tone for the additional effects
Any thoughts ?? 😕

Audio comes out of microcosm and digitakt. Midi goes from Digitone to digitakt and digitakt to microcosm. Clock only.
Hi I just paid $8 and downloaded the Digital album but I cannot see the DT DN project files. kindly assist
