I think Musescore would make a huge step forward if they gave the possibility to work on film scoring. Many users are waiting for this change, let's hope it arrives soon!
I feel like they will save that for the 5th version. For now they need to focus on improving the musicality of the current version before implementing something more drastic such as film scoring component.
Anyone else notice all the people on this channel speak in the same rhythm and pitch jumps? It's like a Musescore accent all its own. Even though they show people from all over the world, they all bounce and jump the same in their inflections.
Since no one else seems to be saying it, I will: This is one EPIC piece of music!! Who is the composer(s)? Does this piece have a name? Can the score be accessed anywhere?
It's a shame that if you own the Original Nucleus Library then in Musescore you have to pay for it again. I think for owners of the Original Library (which was expensive enough) it should be free. This also applies to Orchestral tools and Spitfire Libraries. Just an idea ;)
Looks great! Is there any benefit to this over using the regular VST version of Nucleus when using in Musescore exclusively? I am considering getting one or the other, any information is appreciated!
The musesounds version is much cheaper than the vst version. I don't own Nucleus in musescore, but based off experience with the other paid orchestral sound packs on musehub, you can make good sounding orchestral mockups quite fast in musescore compared to a DAW due to musesounds doing much of the interpretation for you. Only issue with musescore is wrestling with the dynamic control and the general mix. If you know how to make a good orchestral mockup with musescore, getting this version of Nucleus would, I think, be a much better option.
The regular vst version of nucleus is compatible with all DAWs as well as Musescore, while this specific version is only compatible with Musescore. However, this version is much cheaper, requires much less HD space than the regular VST version, and is much easier to compose with, since Musescore plays its own soundfonts in a more naturally human way than typical DAWs do. I have the regular vst version, but am getting this one as well, since I really love Audio Imperia's stuff (I hope they eventually get Jaeger into Musescore, too!), and I compose more naturally in a score sheet system than a DAW.
Musescore doesn't have great support for midi and VST use yet, as musesounds does a lot of that work for you... Without automation capability, I wouldn't suggest using VSTs in musescore. Musesounds is literally made for the scoring with a lot of things automatically handled cohesively (such as patches and techniques changing with text as you saw) so at least within musescore VST loses by a long shot imo.
I wonder if there is a grid feature in MuseScore (or planned, maybe). I mean like a DAW grid - beat subdivisions, 8ths subdivisions etc. Because if there were working with rests would be far simplier. It is very common that a passage won't start on the first beat. Right now in MuseScore I need to input the rests first and would be much cooler and esier if I could just go straight to the 4th beat and all the rests before it are figured by the software (if I need them respelled I can go back and change them but most of the time I don't care a half and a quater rest are ok for me). The same goes for the rests within a passage, it would be super cool to have a hot key or use arrows to more to another grid point - like a space bar for inputing rests. It seems to be super intuitive because what is a rest if not just same space. And also moving selected notes left and right with snapping to grid (basically a nudge fuction) would be great.
Purchased this library and gave it a test with a quick mini composition for anyone interested in hearing how it plays out! (link below) ua-cam.com/video/_uRw6zEywhU/v-deo.htmlsi=UR54ZqIHkHTVOoQ8 I'm new to this film-scoring orchestral composing thing so it'll be nice if you checked it out!
I suppose Nucleur is good enough for MuseScore. Seriously, the samples are not that great, but as I said, it's a good gimmic fo MuseScore users! Composers like John Williams use real orchestras that sounds more 'epic' than sound libraries!
Indeed, this happens when software that started humble becomes successful or as cynic like me might say becomes self-centered, self-loving, money making platform
Hey there - thanks for the feedback. We'll always offer MuseScore Studio for free, and it also comes with an incredible set of free MuseSounds made by our team too! Look out for more videos, tutorials and more on MuseScore Studio soon on this channel - those are never going to stop. MuseSounds made by our partners - like the one in this video - are indeed available to buy. These help support both the team and some fantastic sound designers from other companies. They also offer MuseScore Studio playback options for composers that would otherwise be impossible, so we believe they're still valuable to share with our community. Anyway, we hope you might change your mind and come back to the channel. MuseSounds is just one element in all that MuseScore Studio has to offer.

As an original Nucleus owner, I agree😂
Or at least at a considerable discount.

Last I checked, most composers don’t have the LSO at their disposal…
This channel is now just commercials. Really sad. Unsubscribed

This is just a dumb comment.
Caro collega è il canale ufficiale del software, penso sia normale
