I don't do tips but these look great! You should do a review on ASP powder dip kit? I see a lit of mixed reviews and it looks like a different process than what you do in your powder nails.
Can I use dip base to glue them on or does it have to be press on glue?
Sally’s beauty supply has a good nail glue, I am going to try it this week and see how it works, since I already have it. It’s called beauty secrets nail glue and has a yellow stopper on it.
This is cool! Two questions 1) can you do this and still re-use the press-ons, or does the glue/removal make them one time use and 2) what’s the best way to remove them using this method?
You *can*. But I recommend using an efile on a low speed to remove the dried up glue from the underside of the tip.
My press ons that I paint designs on first and then glue them to my nails, that’s exactly how I reuse them.
I soaked these off in acetone to get them off. It’s pretty fast.
I totally love this method! I do not want gel directly on my nails… However I do love the flexibility and natural look of four cover gel tips. Do you just apply regular polish directly onto the tips once the glue is set? I found that they need a little extra strength, and when I just used regular nail polish it seemed to kind of melt or disintegrate the nails… I tried a gel topcoat just to strengthen it and then use regular nail polish on top of that because I like to change my nail polish a lot :-)
I apply gel polish or builder gel over top of the tips once they’re applied. It helps add extra strength 🥰
What kind of polish do you use? Regular or does it need to be Gel?
To paint over the tips? It can be any type of polish.
I mainly use gel, but I’ve used nail lacquer and dip powder too.
I want them for a couple of days how you take them off? Aceton?

Two weeks 🙌 and then I took them off by soaking.
Do you think this glue is better than others one like from Amazon?
I wish I could say yes or no, I’d have to try the Amazon ones to be 100% certain.
I will say the viscosity of this makes me like it more than other glues I’ve tried.

If you live close, will be glad to meet you somewhere and give you couple of tubes. Trust me, I have plenty!! It's called "NAIL TIP GLUE, SUPER ADHESIVE. " Tried to find order number, but, I didn't see one.
