NEVER happen, I used to run the Boathouse so I know a thing or two. Echo Park has been gentrified by yuppies and woke people, the city doesn't care about the hood and NEVER will do anything of value to clean it up.
The park in not that bad...its Alvarado Blvd that's the problem. The cops look the other way. There is still alot of crime and selling of fake documents on Alvarado...but the city does nothing. I live on Wilshire and I walk my dogs everyday. Homeless are still a problem. Mostly because no one does anything to remove them. They just let them wonder around making a mess. They should invest money into policing it.
@@TheProHunting This permissive attitude is what's literally fostering the crisis. This is a guy who took it upon himself to leave that situation whereas just giving them concessions and looking the other way when they break the law is keeping them in their situation.
They need to clean this place up like echo park.

Worst park in LA unfortunately but awesome views of the skyline. Just about it.
