In this video I react to “Scream” live performance by Michael during HIStory tour which started September 1996-ended October 1997.With a number of 83 shows and attendance of 4.5 million people total.
“ Scream “ features a duet with Janet Jackson written and produced also by Michael , Janet Jackson ,Terry Lewis and Jimmy Jam released May 31st ,1995.
Its video was listed in “Guinness World Records” as the most expensive music video ever made at a cost of 7 million dollars and it did win three MTV Video Music Awards and A Grammy Award for best music video.
Michael takes his audience in complete awe with his stage illusion and space rocket intro on this performance with an outstanding presentation and gold shiny suit.

Michael Jackson always shows up in a rocket ship in the history tour. Scream is also the first song in the History Tour. So he starts like that.
Vclan Thank you for the info I thought so just wasn’t sure. Makes sense, quite legendary to open his sold out arenas from a space rocket. Defines his artwork that was quite “out of the ordinary” and “outstanding”

Mj 2040 - The whole concept of the history world tour is about like a futuristic/kind of space themed production. The person doing the countdown is his drummer Jonathan is the one doing the countdown who’s keeping everything in the band on time. This takes place in Auckland New Zealand I think it’s the first night. One of two shows in Aukland 1996.

He ended the Dangerous Tour shows by flying off the stage into the air on a jet pack, then the beginning of the HIStory Tour was him landing back on the stage again! And as someone who was blessed to be front row at several HIStory Tour concerts, by eyes will never truly recover from the sight of that glorious man in those gold pants just a few feet away🤩🥰😍🤤

It would have cost a lot of money for Janet Jackson to show up not for Michael for the companies that was a world tour so for her to show up set to perform that song it would have cost a lot of money
