“ IN THE CLOSET” is Michael Jackson’s third single on Dangerous album that was recorded March-May 1991 and released April 9,1992.
The music video takes us to an alluring class sensation on a sepia colored music video that was directed by Herb Ritts featuring Michael and Naomi Campbell as the leading lady.
The video was premiered on April 23,1992.

I think this was mj's best midtempo song of the early 90s. The genre is a mix of styles that is hard to define. Of course there is some 90s new jack swing in it. Off course because the producer was Teddy Riley who was the new jack swing king back then.

Its directed by Herb Ritts who is a famous phographer thats why its so artistic...and the idea was MJ's..he always loved the falmingo dancers and that kinda spanish styled photos. Coreographer was MJ too..many sexual movement came from Naomi:)and from MJ himself..both were not a beginner:)))
