Guys, the difficulty and time consumption of the project is literally the entire point. The fact that he did it anyway is intended a display of craftsmanship and patience. He's not trying to prove that doing it with less convenient tools is just as efficient, he's trying to prove that he's one of the few who could do it even without using said tools. This is clear from the moment the video starts.
If never said this to anyone, but you are a super intelligent/patient blade smith. There are very few that can do what you do. What is the most impressive is that have no Blue Dykem on your white sweater. Well done and great content.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE how in the beginning you have someone talking about how its pretty much impossible to make even with a cnc & lathe.. & you do it all by hand & put him to shame! Well done sir! You are a true master! Not afraid to step up to the challenge! I subscribed instantly!
You’re my #1 channel on yt that isn’t gaming! I love seeing your work! It always looks amazing and you don’t say a word! You work in the rain and you even show cleaning up! I love seeing you work and I’ve learned a lot just by watching you and the things you do!
I wish I loved anything as much as you love your craft. Your dedication and attention to detail makes me emotional. Thank you for sharing these videos.
i've just discovered your channel tonight, and i've watched at least half a dozen videos already. your level of craftsmanship and precision puts the biggest smile on my face. keep up the great work, you're a legend!
I love watching you work, it's so calming and that part with the rain was great. Love seeing the design unfold, the step by step, off to part 2, thanks!
Without fancy dancy machines... This is something for the books slavik 👏... I admire you as a person and a crafter... A person you takes time out of there day to make knives like this and still have haters and a person who actually responds to the comments... 👏i respect you

SLAVIK TELY because people are bitter inside and can’t stand to see someone prosper. You have outstanding skills Tely , and envy is a real thing. Well that’s my opinion, because I would give your videos more than one thumb up if I could lol. Keep being great Tely
well, colour me incredibly impressed. this is utter madness.... this man did all of this, WITHOUT A MILL OR A LATHE????? how on earth? the way you solved all these problems... I would call myself a good machinist but I would never be able to achieve something like this. you're on another level.
If you pull this off, ABS better give you the B.M.F'er of the Year award! Nothing more satisfying then making something by hand that others say you can't or need umpteen fancy machines to do. Stoke to see the next vid!
Bro you are simply amazing. The way your brain works is outstandingly stunning. You are definitely the best knife maker that I know of. I can only imagine what would you be creating if you have the big shop and all those ma shines and toys as the other knife makers have. I’ve learned a lot from you last couple of years and I truly admire your knowledge and skills .
There's a Michaelcthulhu video on my recommendations while I'm watching this. And all I can imagine is a version of this blade with a very impractical size.
Hurry up and post part 2, otherwise somebody might beat you to being the first guy on YT to make one! 😉 This is a very intriguing build, a lot of great ideas for work arounds without a lather too. Looking forward to more 👍
Mr. Tely, you always impress me with your ingenuity. This part right here: 3:39 is genius. Is knife making your profession now, or do you still consider it a hobby? Love the video btw. I will always watch your videos until there are no more knives to make. Please keep up the great work.

Thank you for showing this and making it with tools most of us have in our garage
You are welcome
Those cleanup-scenes are awesome xD
Very nice way to create som kind of cut.
And I like these scenes with raining- and hail-sounds in the background.
Im watching you do this, and I still dont know how you are doing it... :-D You have mad eyeball skills!

Its awesome to see you taking on a challenge, in my opinion.
You'd need a factory grade lathe to make this.

Excellent job Mr. Tely
Great video, Impressive work.
Great Intro, nice idea!
Of all knifemakers i know it's definitely you i want to see doing something like this, love it!
