- In this video I tackle a heavily abused White Furniture Company French Provincial nightstand. Processes used to revive this piece are stripper, paint wash, and an antique wood wax. I also expose my rookie mistake and have a BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!!!!

The little dresser is darling. Good Idea to hide the bleed thru. And CONGRATULATIONS on getting new land! The house you just sold was absolutely Gorgeous. I can see why it sold so fast! But I totally understand the desire for land and peace. I live in a suburban area just outside of Salt Lake City. I used to have nothing but fields all the way behind my house for many miles before the Great Salt Lake and the view of a little island. I have enjoyed it for over 20 years. They just put in a 4 land highway (freeway) not far behind my house and the noise is TERRIBLE! I was so worried about loosing my gorgeous view, I didn’t think how loud it was going to be! No more chirping birds from the bird refuge. No more coyote’s and foxes. Just a loud road. Bummer. I would Love to move somewhere with land and build a new home. That is going to be so exciting. I’m thrilled for you! I can’t wait to watch as the next exciting year happens in your life! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you! We moved out to a very small farming community. Population 1,300. I am hoping the highway stays faaaaar away. Someone just feels right in your 40's about being able to sit in your own home in peace and quiet, and enjoy nature sounds. ❤️

Very true! I would have loved to play around with it more but I finished this piece and packed up my workshop the day before the movers came. I was cutting it down to the wire. 🤣

The legs was broken, so I did a paint wash instead of stain. It is easier to hide flaws
It was beautiful until you added the paint. I love the natural wood but it is your choice.
I loved that wood as well. I wish someone hadn't knocked a huge chunk out of the leg so I could have just stained and sealed.
