I love that you are donating hair! I have cancer and had to say goodbye to long hair and am now bald. You learn a lot about yourself when you no longer have hair and have to find confidence without it. The shorter hair looks amazing on you and it makes your hair look so thick and healthy. I love how bubbly and happy you are. Change is good.
Everyone tells me that I should cut my hair shorter like pixie short because they say it looks better, but I donating my hair is the least that I can do. So I grow it long because this is what God has caused me to do.
Have you become more comfortable without your hair with time? Or does it bother you a lot? My mom lost her hair to chemo and it really hurt her feelings that insurance couldn't cover a wig and they were very expensive. We were able to find a resource center that helped us get her one for very cheap and if you'd be interested, I could ship it to you:) It'd be nice to be able to pass on the help that we were given.
