- We bought a 242,000 mile BMW E46 330Ci and decided to revive it to live the rest of its glory days on the race track! The car is SUPER clean and has relatively nothing wrong with it, but will it stay that way?
Now that our fluids have been changed and our bushings replaced, its time to tear into the rest of the suspension. In this episode we replace all of the front suspension including control arms, tie rods, sway bar & end links, front coil overs, and install our EBC racing brakes. We also weld our subframe reinforcement kit and get our first test drive with the new parts.

Here is a cool modifications for cooling and protentional preventative damage to the radiator while creating downforce on the track.
Move the radiator to the rear seat and open up the rear seat panel to exit below the bumper. Window vent slits on the windows to pull in air to the radiator, cooling, and passing through air creates downforce out the back below the car :)
The E46 is such an Iconic chassis, this side of the new century. "Booted and Lubed." Atta Boy!!! Your partner will thank You after the ride... In the E46!!!! LOL!!!!

Failed speedo runs off one of the rear wheel speed sensors - could also be the source of the TC/ABS fault

I just got an ‘06 330ci ZHP package, 128k miles. Riding kind of hard, I’m sure I need a complete suspension refresh. If I go with coilovers will the ride be harsh for avg driving?
So far from our experience these coilovers ride great! But we also have a ton of other options depending on your budget on our website as well
I’m amazed anyone would need to change out front struts on a ZHP with such low miles. Maybe do your control arms and bushings and get a strut tower brace in there … then see if you wanna do those struts next year… I have almost 300k on my front struts and they are finally starting to show their age. I am NOT easy on them either. My .02
