The list continues! AIC! Yes! Love The Church. So cool that you’re seeing Violent Femmes live. David Bowie in the house. That’s one of my favorite albums of his too.
Hey Jeff, always enjoy seeing these kinds of lists. It brings up albums that I might want to check out or bands I want to give another listen. Great video. Also, I have to say one of my favorite videos you have done that I thought was hilarious and never forgotten was your relaxing morning on the deck with with a cup of coffee chilling with Yoko. Thanks again.
I'm not a Bowie guy but have never listened to Hunky Dory, maybe I should? That Violent Femmes has always passed me by, I need to just get it haha. Hard to go wrong with Joshua Tree. Nice episode my friend!
🤗 hey it’s your buddy. Nice concept. Challenging I’m sure. I dig a lot of the music you listed. 😳 go figure. 😎😂🤡 whoa 🤯 you got trippy there with Pink Floyd and the Cure 😎🧠🧠👅🤡😎
Not an easy list and to be honest I’m still shuffling songs around in my top 70. 😂🤪 Yeah it is probably a bit weird to have both The Cure and Pink Floyd on the same list but my tastes are all over the map.
Hi Jeff!!! I think AIC's "Facelift" is a pretty good album and it was the first i listen, but when "Dirt" was released took the band to another level..... To me U2's "JoshuaTree" has to be their best album, maybe a tad long, but their finest moment and the Edge's guitar tone is so cool. cheers and be well
Hi Jeff, another great installment! I have been trying to make a top 100 list, but it is so difficult and mentally taxing. I whittled thousands down to around 250-270 albums and I am having a tough time. I might abandon the effort or continue. I haven’t made up my mind, but it will take some more time.
Like the duo of doom with The Cure & Joy Division ➗️. I was fortunate enough to be working at Arista when Starfish came out. It was awesome to have success with such a great record. Album still sounds fresh today.
An interesting mix of albums . Here's my list from 80 to 71 : Human League : Dare Eagles : On The Border Camel : Rain Dances Boston : Boston The Pretenders : The Pretenders Porcupine Tree : Deadwing Martha & the Muffins : Metro Music. ( power pop that occasionally veers into prog territory ) Peter Gabriel : Car Pete Townshend : White City Al Stewart : Time Passages Thanks !!
Cheers! I’m anxious to see your top ten list around Christmas when you make it to the end of your collection. Anytime my wife complains about me having too many records I’m going to show her your videos.
This time AiC PF Bowie JD and the Cure are the ones I own. The Church have my curiosity now. They always struck me as the hipster post punk band in the league of Jesus Mary Chain or love and rockets etc etc. bands I never cared for. Hope they’re different.
a few i don't know - hard rock not a fan that much - but hunkydory is a wonderful record - Meddle I wore out I was 18 and hair long like the band and Floyd were tops with some grass of course

Haha, that was a fun video to do. 😂🤪 Anytime I can work Yoko into a video I take the opportunity.
Yes SRV 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘

Thanks Sam! Hunky Dory might change your mind about Bowie.
Killer video Jeff! Another 2 or 3 of these are going to make my list , great job brother 👍🤘🤘
Thanks brother! I think I know which ones. 😃

Thanks Cristian! The Edge has such a unique tone and his guitar playing has never been replicated. Cheers!

Thanks Brian! 100 is not a very long list once you actually start compiling it. Some of the albums I’ve had to leave off are masterpieces.

Really enjoying your top 100 list Jeff! 👌

I’ve never heard Camel or Porcupine Tree. I think I must be missing out.
Hey Jeff! No Talking Heads dedication to me this time around......I have 5 of these, but I don't think any would make my top 100. Cheers!

AIC RULES

Yeah The Church are not as sonically abrasive or gothic as JAMC or Love and Rockets. I think you would totally dig them!
This list is going to go way too fast. I’m really enjoying this. Probably four of these would have a great chance of making my own top 100.
Thanks Gary! I think I could probably guess which ones…🙂

Meddle is such a fantastic record. Pink Floyd looked so bad ass back then.
Wow, I knew Ian Curtis committed suicide, but did not know the circumstances, damn.
Yeah very tragic. 😞
