    I can't believe people don't know how to set ignition timing and even if they know how to adjust the valves. All you have to do is read the instructions a good repair manual

      A good repair manual will tell you that dynamic timing is the most accurate way to time an engine, with preference to full advance. Static timing is just to put you in the ball park.

      Everything I've been reading says it is.... But they jet and venturi them down to the engine, But if he gets a bigger engine he already has the carbs, they just need
      re-jetted.... From what I've read 40's are good up to a 2000cc.
      But I'm just learning....
