- With this 2019 Rosenbauer PANTHER Airport Fire Engine you will see all the latest technology in fire fighting. It's engine is from Volvo and has 750hp, with a maximum speed of 120 km/h and accelerates from 0 to 80 km/h in less than 28 seconds and weighs 39 tonne. So let's check out this great machine!

As a retired firefighter/engineer I still enjoy watching videos like this. This particular video was better than most is it showed detailed views of almost every feature. The only thing missing was an overview of the routine daily maintenance access points.
Amazing machine! I got to ride in a airport fire engine 25 years ago. Not all to dissimilar to to this. Had 2 cannons as well like this one and joysticks inside, huge tires. Was at Stockholm Arlanda... one of the parents worked there so he arranged for a trip out to see the trucks and all that! Very cool!

there are not many channels that give your truck runs and truck tours and tractor runs and tractor tours and a fire engine tour and rally lol

when i was in the air force i was taking part in a disaster response training exercise. part of the exercise included the fire fighter squadron, they pulled up in this thing and i was blown away it looked like something out of transformers.

the new 2021 Rosenbauer Panther 8X8 + 5.0 in. Lift 12.3 TDI I8 4-Dr Double Cab Situation Support Truck (RHD) with a few upgrades could address fire situations in far flung areas . . . the 12.3 TDI I8 mated to a 18-speed auto transmission has to be retuned so that it can perform flawlessly in extreme temperatures, be it +42.0° deg or -34.0° deg even when running on low quality fuel . . . both the thick high strength steel chassis frame & body (front 4-Dr Double Cab & rear chassis mounted fire fighting apparatus) of the Rosenbauer Panther 8X8 + 5.0 in. Lift 12.3 TDI I8 4-Dr Double Cab Situation Support Truck (RHD) has to be heavily reinforced for greater torsional rigidity & enhanced stiffening . . . a beefed up suspension featuring stiffer springs and shocks & a proper off road optimized 5.0 in. suspension lift . . . not to mention 26.3 in. semi beadlock wheels shod with HCV compatible all terrain radial tyres . . .
This looks way more advanced than any fire truck I've seen here in the usa.
You'll still see some US airports purchase these Rosenbauer trucks. Most use Oshkosh for their fire trucks in the airport.
These are used almost exclusively at airports. But also around refineries, bases and things.
I dont understand why they put the siren speaker there why not somewhere on the front that does not block the water monitor hmmm

Airport fire trucks appear in all sizes and shapes, just like normal fire trucks can look like airport fire trucks as well
