You guys are incredible. My wife and I have been married a little over a year, and got married in Latin with the whole Solemn Latin Mass, Gregorian chants and everything. We want to learn Latin and make it our primary family language in and outside the home. I am American, and she’s Korean. :) We want to be fluent and for Latin to be our kids’ first language. Please keep making these videos!
Are you aware of the Familia Sancti Hieronymi? They provide lots of great Catholic audio in Latin, and have an annual week long event entirely in Latin. Lots of Latin speakers!
Peliculas tuas, Luci, et peliculas magistri craftis mihi valde adiuvarum ad latine intelegendo. Id quod vos volunt iam facierunt. Gratias vobis, gratias plenas.
I admire you guys for your discipline for learning Latin , it motivates me for keep learning russian language, this channel is great stuff for Latin learners ,keep the good work.
Time to teach myself conversational/speaking fluency in Attic Greek, get some others and get them to also speak in restored Attic pronunciation, and make a podcast like Legio XIII (or it also might just end up being some Greek-Latin pidgin, which could also be cool)
Thank you. Love your passion to resurrect spoken Latin. I wish I knew Latin to join in. Admirable. Question. Are you all actively creating new vocabulary or are you latinizing words already in existence? You could invent new words for ‘podcast’. Or keep classical Latin as is? Curious. Need to find your website to start studies.
Lucius................Wow!! (in Latin) But what's with the odd stress markings in the written version? This is all very lovely, guys, but it ain't poetry!..
Great, more conversational stuff like the ecolinguist video. You should add Latin subtitles, it would help people follow along.
Thanks! And sure, if people want to they can submit community subtitles. I don’t have the time to do so.
Luke's spoken Latin is phenomenal, he definitely is one of most fluent, but also, beautifully-spoken Latin speakers in the world today.
That is really too kind, since I can name twenty people off the top of my head whose speech is in every way superior.
@@LegioXIII that's why I said 'one of'. He himself says that there are some other speakers whose Latin he envies.
_Who? For example?_

Does anyone know of any families (religious or not) who speak Latin daily in the home as a family?
@@MC98765 I know of one, but only one.

We keep everything as it is as much as possible. Neolatinlexicon.org has the modern vocabulary. Otherwise podcast=acroāma. Thanks again! 😊

@@LegioXIII Ah. I see. Thanks. I find it visually confusing, but if it's authentic, cool.
Yeah they’re super important to Latin 😊 and other languages too as you saw
