I had to look up “ēdō” because it sounded to me like you were saying you had been eating your various Latin podcasts, videos, etc., which I knew couldn’t be true. I find it delightful that “ēdō” and “edō” are nearly antonyms. 😂
Macte! Gratias ago tibi, Magistra Irene. Gaudeo quod nova acroamata pelliculaque fortasse mihi destinata erunt. Etiam laetor si nova contenta erit, quod omnia acroamata tua audivi :) Łukasz discipulus hic ;)

Optime! Nuper confeci spectare omnias pelluculas tuas destinata tyranibus, sed pelluculas Rara Avis difficilimae sunt 😢. Sed haec optima est - Intellego plerumque, sed non omnium. Mihi placet etiam te de rebus quotidibus narrare cogitas. I'm sure my syntax is all wrong - I need to watch many more of your videos 😂. Actually it was a very short w as short as v before a, o, u, and a very short ü before e and i that sounded practically the same as v : greek inscriptions prove that vi before q or in perfects was pronounced the same as upsilon y. You would have been better understood in year 0 with your own v than with English w which is a long though unaccented vowel sound actually, often longer than the following vowel, hence why it came to be written vv or w. For prosody and poetry you should start with a v. Actually also, though c before e and i was nearer by sound to a kind of k rather than to church latin ch, it was nearer to the latter as for the tongue's position. Church latin would have been less ugly to Roman ears in year zero (though sloppy) than overdone classical pronunciation with over-guttural Germanic k's and g's.

Nuntiae bonae!! Valde laetus sum hoc audire. :)
Diu hoc acroama redintegrare desideraveram, nec tamen me id desiderare sciebam. Pariter igitur gaudeo!
Gratias tibi ago, Irene.

Salvete Irene!
can you try to pronounce V like W in english
Weh !!!! and not VEH
but thanks for making these videos
Hi Christopher! There's an old video where I explain the pronunciation I use...
