So glad I came across this video, recently started barebow and well, archery as a whole. My relief is in my hunt for an anchor point I've ended up working with something similar to yours at 3:07, my question is whether that's your usual anchor point or a is it a little lower due to the walk you've done down the string? Reason being mine is a little higher, anchoring my thumb beneath my upper jaw/cheek and index finger on my lips.
Glad you enjoyed the video. The anchor point you see me use in the video is the same anchor I use every time. The only thing that changes is the distance that I crawl down the string. Other than that, I anchor at the same points on my face every time. I hope this was helpful. Glad to hear you have taken up Barebow!
Hey there, I'm wondering what that holster is that you use to support your bow when string walking. I've fallen into a bad habit of holding my bow horizontal to my body when finding my crawl and want to keep it more vertical but find I get more bow arm fatigue. Also, is it legal?
It is a leather leg holster that I made. It is great for minimizing fatigue, and creating a bit more efficiency in the shot process. I find that I am far more relaxed, and less tense when on the line for sure. I have used the holster in many tournaments, including Lancaster, Vegas and many other outdoor NFAA regulated events. There is no rule against using a leg holster. If you are interested in one, I do make them and sell them. Send me a message on Instagram or Facebook, and I can go over the details.
In this video I was drinking Peet's coffee, a local brand brewed out of a generic french press we've had around for years. Not sure what the brand of the press is. And, the mug is hand made by a buddy of mine.
really loved this !!!! keep on keeping on brother, you are going to kill it!

Point On Archery thanks!
Work! Always messing up a good time. Looking solid.
Interesting anchor point dude I'm going to try it out after tomorrow's shoot
Been shooting it for a couple of years. It's a bit on the low side for Barebow but allows me to get out to those long distances with no problem.
Nice work man.!
The close-up on Grayson’s face was 10/10
