That style of ITE “Bulldog” Pushmatic breaker panel dates it to the early 60’s. They made Pushmatics until about 1970 but that style is from the early 60’s. Very nice rancher, way too nice to destroy for some cheap new McMansion. I really liked this one!
Yeah, us yanks call this a ranch style. My parents built ours in the late 50s, early 60s. A bungalow is what we call a cottage. The late 1960s thru the 70s was the rise of the split style, took up less room, so they could built 5 in the same space as 2 ranch style, and they did. Thanks for another great video
The access to the attic was probably in the garage. Our rental that was built in 1958 has it there. Our current home, built in 2008, has both the attic and crawlspace access out in the garage. That keeps messes out of the house.
I liked it! I do believe however, this one is ready to say goodbye... It was beautiful! Those huge windows ❤ Huge rooms ❤ Wood flooring was nice throughout. I felt the basement wasn't worth you "exposing" yourself to all that mold. (my opinion) you're a cool young man, younger than my son's, so I apologize if I care about your well-being. You're a respectful, thoughtful, and caring explorer! And I can't wait for the next one.
@emmacc74 In the UK , a bungalow refers to a single storey home. A house is more than one level in the UK , as you know. In the US , Ranch style refers to the style of architecture, long, low stretched out , open space . The US does have a bungalow style ….this refers to a small, modest dwelling , with a low pitched roof and usually a porch.. So in the US , you will find many versions of single storey ranch style homes, each with unique features . Not all single storey homes will be called Ranch Style .
What a beautiful home to find. I loved the brick and stone exterior and the stone fireplace inside . it was interesting the fireplaces that you called fake,, were they possibly gas or electric used for heating ? I did like the wallpaper , and chandeliers also. The overall house looked very well kept especially for its age. The only problem seemed to be the mold in the basement where it seemed to be contained hopefully. It was without a doubt very large and well made at the time of construction. It's a shame to know it's being torn down to build poor quality new construction. Thank you for braving the cold to bring us this new adventure. ⛄
Love this house.Great explore as usual. Now to get serious....You my dear Ethan are not wearing warm enough clothing. You need that warmer jacket in your vehicle for these days and keep something in the pockets to warm cold hands. Try wrapping 2 baked potatoes in layers of foil and should feel good . Sounds nutty I know but it really works. Cheaper than something on the market.
Loved this house, it was so spacious, I can imagine dinner parties being thrown in the gorgeous dining room, and game nights being held in the basement. Not sure why but I could feel the love that was in that house:)
The circular molding above a chandelier is referred to as a Medallion. Classically they were molded by an artisan out of plaster, modern ones are made of a lightweight foam and affixed to the ceiling.
I love your videos! It is crazy to me how you do these in such cold weather. I am fascinated by the basements you film I live in Texas, and we don't have them here.
Great explore. This is a real beauty. You can tell the owners took pride and good care of this place. There is much joy coming from this one. Looking at the basement set up, one can tell the lifestyle of the owners who must have been practical and resourceful.
I love these old ranch style homes, and this one is really nice! I love the spacious and flowing floorplan! The architectural details are fantastic! The owners no doubt must have had years of comfortable enjoyable living in this generous and beautiful home, inside and out! 😎 explore! ✌️
Hi Ethan 😎🏎💨, wow nice house even tho it’s alittle outdated which gives it character. I liked all the fireplaces ❤ and I liked the glass French doors and the open kitchen and the dining room chandelier that was nice, ashame that there was mold in the basement due to dampness, other than that the upstairs was nice. I did like the view of the backyard from one of the bedrooms that was nice. I loved that stone fireplace with the iron doors. I wonder why there was a little mini fireplace next to it that was nice. To bad that house can’t be a fixer upper 🏡. Can’t wait to see your next awesome house Ethan I know it will be a great one 😁 . Always stay awesome 😎🏎see you next time, hey maybe do a Christmas video🎄🏡🎅🏻
It got moldy because there windows were closed and air never circulated. Mail floor fireplace is a Russian Fireplace for cooking. House built 1963. Reno 1988.
The remodel in the 80’s was well done. This is a beautiful house, but the water damage and mold in the basement tells me that it’s probably not salvageable even if the developer wanted to. However there is quite a bit of salvageable items upstairs; the doors, light fixtures, etc. Thank you for doing these videos. I look forward to each and every one!
Another really nice house! I hate that they’re always destroyed for inferior ugly townhouses that I’m surprised so many people want to live in. Nice classic rancher. Love the huge living room with the fireplace and beautiful bay window. Can just imagine a huge Christmas tree in font of the window and a grand piano somewhere in this room. And the big dining room with the dazzling chandelier. Really loved most of the unique light fixtures. Kitchen quite nice with its connection to family room. Basement so spacious and would have been nice finished off. Except for the mold house seems in good structural shape. Must have been so nice having so much outdoor space. Love the deck. Love all the brick and stone. Sad for it’s untimely impending demise. Ethan thank you for sharing this beauty. Take care of yourself be well and stay safe.
My first thought was built in 50/60's. Please leave the areas with that amount of mold. It's going to make you sick. This old lady has spoken 😂 We love you Ethan.
I got a real warm 😊feeling from this house Ethan ❤ like its owners were really good people and very organized. Yes interesting when they get torn down and rebuilt with cheaper materials that fall under good value. But hey it’s what happens when people move away and abandon the big houses. But again thanks 🙏 for another amazing video with a gorgeous ranch style house and yes that chandelier is exquisite: if you come to Manhattan Ethan I’ll give you a complete tour of the big apple. We have beautiful architecture here. And quite a history including the museum of J p Morgan the legendary banker. Thanks bro beautiful home thanks for the beautiful energy as well. Peace ✌️
Love everything about this house! Basement was a bummer. However the upstairs was very cool. Thanks again, Ethan! I'm glad to see you spending exploring time with Noah. I've subscribed and I think both of you are great! Until the next one!
Funny you asked about the attic. I was wondering if that was the attic ladder @ 10:51 built into the stairwell wall coming from the basement or maybe it's a rack of some kind?
I think this house is beautiful I like all the panels on the wall the lamp in this area is lovely. I like that open plan aspect to the kitchen. Classy beautiful house a large lounge with a bay window. Three beautiful chandelier gorgeous large one in the dining room. The small one at the front door is quite cute I love the oval glass at the front door, gorgeous glass French door elegant with the thin trims between the glass. It might have subsided that is why it is not easy to close the door. The front is beautiful very nice large back garden nice sitting area but I do not like decking. Great video Ethan thank you.
beautiful home Eathan and thank you for sharing there was an attic in one of the closets but the Color of was a dark gray the basement was huge and with the back yard as big as it was you could build a granny flat or a small house on it but a great video and see you in the next one
Wow thanks Ethan loved the outside and inside big bay room the sunken floors my favorites.Love ya be safe be healthy- from me to you HAPPY HOLIDAYs MERRY CHRISTMAS . NWP,FL Barbie
Very cool House. That last one you did at your friends house gave me nightmares last night. 😨. Love your House 🏠 videos. Glad you go with someone as I would be terrified to go in vacant houses 🏘️ alone. You got a Great streaming channel. Brian Las Vegas Nevada
Very nice house and I could see myself living in it. Nice open floor plan and a lot of nice details throughout. And why did you not close those cabinet doors? 😂😅😊
This house is at least ten times better constructed than whatever thrown-together and overpriced junk the real estate developers are planning to replace it with.
Bungalow here is a Bungalow everywhere. Your viewer is mistaken. I do prefer the tours to start at the front. If you have to explore with other people, can't you switch off turns? It's my only criticism. Always fun to watch local explores
Ethan I could be wrong, but in the kitchen area next to the fireplace. Those two little iron door is for baking bread just an FYI, I do believe that’s what they were used for.❤🤠
A real beauty until you get to the basement. Shame it's going to be demoed. Really sucks Ethan. Another beautiful house bites the dust. White Star Line owned the Titanic. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
That house is definitely ranch style ,its not a bungalow. Looks like the kitchen was updated the cabinets didn't look 80s . Too bad they keep getting rid of the well made homes to these quick pices of junk
Poms call these types of houses bungalows. Here in Australia we just call them single storey houses. Makes me laugh when Poms refer to them as only for old people 🤣
Well at least you’re protecting yourself a little more! The basement? You couldn’t pay me to venture down into the unknown 🙀Did see an orb fly past your shoulder, was it from some kid that used to live there that put those painted handprints on that table in the basement?💀Muahaha! Just kidding Ethan, but does kind of creepy. The upstairs is very nice though.👍✅💖🥰
It’s so sad when they tear these homes down just to build junk houses
With all that mold in the basement, sometimes a house can't be saved. It's nice when they repurpose stuff, though
Rising damp, not good
You are so right, the stuff they build today are usually ugly, built cheaply and way over priced.

Spot on with talking about the difference of a ranch and bungalow house.❤
The access to the attic was probably in the garage. Our rental that was built in 1958 has it there. Our current home, built in 2008, has both the attic and crawlspace access out in the garage. That keeps messes out of the house.

Outstanding video Ethan 👍
Beautiful home. 😢❤
Great vidéo as Always can't wait to see more 👍👍🎅🎄😺👋👋
Hey. I think that chamber next to stone fireplace is an oven. You build a fire below and the chamber above is the oven. Pretty cool
Hello Ethan 👋 What another great find and beautiful house ❤️

Thanks, have a Merry Chirstmas.
In the south, we call the wood trim in the dining room and living room "picture frame molding." Since it resembles a picture frame.
Ethan, again a brighter light is needed for these dark rooms. 😮
Awesome house yes them chandeliers is beautiful I hope they take them
Loved this house, it was so spacious, I can imagine dinner parties being thrown in the gorgeous dining room, and game nights being held in the basement. Not sure why but I could feel the love that was in that house:)
Very liveable home!
Thanks for the video
thank you for watching

It got moldy because there windows were closed and air never circulated. Mail floor fireplace is a Russian Fireplace for cooking. House built 1963. Reno 1988.
Not too shabby, the mainfloor was better than the basement.

Can anything be salvaged in this home. So sad to see the chandlers be destroyed. Also I loved the glass door between the kitchen and living room.

Ethan I could be wrong, but in the kitchen area next to the fireplace. Those two little iron door is for baking bread just an FYI, I do believe that’s what they were used for.❤🤠
...And one more orb near the receipt you were looking at.
fireplace in basemennt is wood and upstairs you have a smoker and a fireplace wood or gas
Hard to believe y’all don’t have snow covering the ground yet.
I❤ portable fireplaces ❤
What a nice home beside the basement! Sad they didn’t up keep it and it being torn down
Nice house❤
Love the house, but it's sad they throw away money just to build new ones, it's just ridiculous and thanks for exploring it😊
Nice house
Cool 😀
A real beauty until you get to the basement. Shame it's going to be demoed. Really sucks Ethan. Another beautiful house bites the dust. White Star Line owned the Titanic. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
1960's was Pink Pink pink . The 80's was mauve.
Poor house was let down by it's owners. What a shame.
Nice place, except for the basement mold farm. Thanks, Ethan
Nice house ! Was there no access from the garage to the house other than going down into the cellar or going outside ?

I think the Titanic was the White Star Line.
