Wow... late 90's?! I personally don't hear that too often. From where I stood, being just old enough to dig Nirvana, Jane's Addiction, Sonic Youth, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Alice In Chains, The Pixies, The Breeders, Radiohead, Rage Against The Machine, Dinosaur Jr., Nine Inch Nails, Beck, Stone Temple Pilots, etc. etc. in the early to mid 90's, when they hit (or in some cases starting getting more national attention after years of being underground bands) that to me it seemed like once Cobain left us and the Indie/Grunge scenes fizzled out or slipped back underground, the newer music (with a few exceptions) either didn't measure up to that initial explosion of Alternative rock becoming popular, (mostly thanks to Nirvana) or just seemed to be the slow death of that magic time and the major labels going back to that well one too many times and trying to squeeze out the last drops of gold. But that's just me. Not trying to tear down your tastes, good on you for digging your time and it's music, etc. But to me, popular rock music has never reached those heights again.
One last thing before i quit, i never wanted anymore than i could fit into my head, i still remember every single word you said, and all the sh*t that somehow came along with it, still theres one thing that comforts me since i was always caged but now im FREEEEEE
Just to set the record strait... Dave Grohl is not the lead singer for "Them Crooked Vultures" Josh Homme is, Dave drums like a beast and adds his deep man growling angel voice to backing vocals. And then to further add to the awesomeness that is the Grohl, he has sung Led Zep while Jimmy page played guitar, he is the living embodiment of EPIC WINNING.
I love how he doesn't take a breath during the bridge part that starts with "One last thing before a I quit" all the way to "now I'm freeeee"...LUNG strength, right there. Haha.
2:36: With this part I keep thinking of the "All In The Family" where Edith flips on Archie because he wouldn't give her the money to buy a new TV set, and demands he pay her back pay for the housework for the last 30 years. She rages like a banshee. Just like that last part of this song.

+Alessia Turreni "fuck" has many definitions, most of them unofficial i imagine. the most common use of "fuck" is in verb form, where "to fuck" means "to have sex". When you say, "This song is fucking me right now," the translation would be "I am having sex with this song right now." Obviously not what you meant. And Stephen Barlow made a joke about consensual/non-consensual sex, which I am only allowed to give one thumbs up :(
Used to jam with my Son, a God on the Axe. Papa Roach, Disturbed, S.O.A.D. Never tried this. Makes me dizzy airin'. Live in an apartment so i can't attempt it here. Gotta friend out in the country. Gonna go try it. I'ts gonna blow my mind. Still got it in me. Y'all pray for me. First time i played with a BOSS Death Metal Peddle, i thought i was gonna pass out. Couldn't believe that came from me. My Son's passed away now. I hope My Baby hears me. I Hove you, Christ Reeder!
Guess who this could be dedicated can my brother Guess your a beautiful woman with Narcissistic issues. But we love you for all you don't acknowledge within yourself tht you provided and giveth toyour daughter son and this message comes either the most respect and love... always your daughter Brandi Birdzell
@MULTIOLIVEMAN My band covered this song (I sing). It's not that bad, but you do have to 'invent' one or two spots to breathe in the bridge. It was definitely one of the funnest songs we've done though.
this guy was the drummer from nivarna and drummer for queens of the stone age for awhile before making his own band look at nivarna song lithium and he is in it
i uste 2 listen 2 this song all the time because i had a video game that had it on it! then it broke and i completly lost the words and toon! were reunited 4 the 1st time in 3 yrs!

Great song
Yeah dude im 11 and I appreciate Nirvana, Foo Fighters, etc.
Music went from this to every other song is about butts
+claire haiker Sadly, yes. Actually making good music is now not financially viable anymore. Talking about butts and boobs and drugs makes money.
This is why this is my favorite genre of music not R&B Techno Pop Country *gags* sorry I can't stand country music.
Love foo fighters
