I think it’s really messed up how like I’m straight but my parents are so so so supportive and keep telling us they’d love us no matter who we love but that there is some people who are gay/bi/pan/trans etc and can’t even tell their own parents because they’re not supportive. I will never understand how you can be homophobic for the same reasons Sharon said

As an older sibling, it's bittersweet. Like I absolutely love my brothers and love helping my family. But, it gets to be a lot and it gets stressful. I helped watch the middle and I helped raise the youngest.
i always had the instinct to care for babys/smaller children. So my 3 years younger sister had to stop me from bothering her. I unwillingly accepted that we are peers/siblings and that its not my place to parent her.
I actually got two younger halfsiblings that are 21 and 15 years younger than me. I can full out parent them, when i actually get to see them 3/4 times a year. 🥺 they feel more like nephews to me than siblings.

Wattpad girly here, I remember seeing a lot of satire fanfics, but the more serious ones were mostly anime or some celebrity that had a huge moment in the media for a little while before the hype died down
This is real. I’m still reading mha fanfics. Especially the Bakugo ones😭
Since I haven’t seen anyone bearing the cross explaining fanfiction, I shall do it. In my experience there’s now a difference between Wattpad girlies and fanfiction girlies. The fact that she said she was reading fanfiction not Wattpad made me think she was probably reading it on Ao3. Fanfiction now is less about real people and more about fandoms like books, movies, etc. at least in my experience
Agreed. From what I’ve seen, there is a distinction between Wattpad girlies and fanfiction girlies. Wattpad is an app that appears to be more about people in situations and it doesn’t have very good quality stories. Whereas AO3 isn’t an app, it’s a nonprofit site that was written by the fans for the fans. Thus, the fics tend to be rooted in TV, movie, book etc., fandoms. And due to its superior tagging system, it also has the most consistent quality of fics.
Exactly!!! The difference between Wattpad and Ao3 is astounding. I hate how fanfiction is only associated with Wattpad for so many people while there are some fanfictions on Ao3 that are better than actual published books.

Yeah! I use both and Ao3 all the way! The tagging system is so much better, and most of the fanfictions are better quality. Personally, I feel like writing fanfiction about real people is kind of weird, although I won't judge anyone for writing/reading it

nowadays the site archive of our own (commonly known as ao3) is popular for more mature fanfics now, but wattpad is still around and active.
fanfics arent really about celebrities as much anymore, and more-so the characters they play. like a ship of fictional characters. for example, hannah and clay from 13 reasons why or peeta and katniss from the hunger games. there are still celebrity fanfics floating around but the majority is fictional ships with characters from shows, movies, books, or games. you name a show, there's fanfic for it. the fanfic world has definitely changed but definitely for the better.

hi sharon! i have a period horror story. So when i was these people came to our school to give us injections and that day i had my period and i had a REALLY bad cramp and then it was time for our class to have the injections i had mine and i still had really bad cramps and after the injection we went back to class and i felt very sick so my teacher let me stand outside and i threw up in a bin and the cramps didnt stop and i was shaking and i went to medical and they didnt believe me so in the end i called my mum to pick me up.
i went to sephora for the first time (i’m ten) and i was really nervous because i didn’t want to see any sephora kids and i wanted to see the damage in the drunk elephant section and you know what i see? 2 kids taking the rosi drops and bronzing drops and i backed away slowly cause i was scared that they would attack me with their stanleys 😭😭😭😭 oh and also my sephora is sooooo stocked

I'm heavy into Johnny Depp fanfiction. Mainly just fictional fan made stories about Johnny as himself and some stories about some of my favorite movies of his throughout his career such as Pirate of the Caribbean and the show 21 Jump Street. In the past, I've also read Phineas and Ferb fanfics, Gravity Falls, and even stories about the Peanuts characters. It all depends on what you like.
Fanfics are now mostly about shows, books, movies, etc.

The most i ever hid was that i was writing a book, and i honestly thought it wasn't a big deal but when my mom found out she opened it on a device i sometimes write on and started editing it without telling me, i was scared because it used swearing that is off limits in my house then i had to change it a lot. im still kinda mad about it, it felt like a violation of privacy and now my characters aren't distinct at all
For the “it’s not my responsibility to potty train my sibling one” that’s so real because for me it was having to wake my sister up in the morning like girl is 12 and still needs to be woken up. One time I purposely woke her up 3 mins before we had to leave and I got yelled at. But the one time I didn’t wake up she ignores me, doesn’t wake me up at all gets the “oh she thought you were awake” excuses from my mom 💀 like girl I had to speak to homerooms for student council like that shit was Important
my little sister is 5 and i was 12 when she was born. my mum made me basically raise her and i hold a grudge about it because still to this day she thinks i should be looking after her (my mum looks after her 3 days out of a week)

Big secrets I keep from my biological little sister to protect her psyche..I’m adopted because our mom couldn’t take care of me and when it’s her mom’s weekend and I’m visiting our grandparents she always says that I can come with her whenever she goes to sleepover at our moms house little does she know that we barely talk to each other and so it’s awkward and even when we do talk we only talk about superficial things like my sister’s clothes. Also she has one more older sibling a brother named Peter who was adopted at birth, and doesn’t know either of us exist.
I also have a huge drawer with candy but since my grandpa visits a lot he buys me like tons of candy. I just hoard them until I have a certain goal then I eat some at a time. It's come in very useful 😂
