Twice didnt really declined but they broke records on their own. The reason why Twice is not as strong as before because bigger groups as well did multiple comebacks especially Blackpink who made this year their year with multiple broken records and achievements. I can't say Twice flop this year because it is still a big achievement to hit in top places and broken numerous records in SK and especially in Japan which those achievements are really big even bigger than USA. So I don't see that Twice declined this year. I don't also say that Itzy did worst or flopped, Itzy made their own sound and they are really a strong rookie group. They made this year fantastic as before. Both Twice and Itzy are successful in their own way.

The popularity is from three groups of fans. First, the hardcore fans who never give up thier idols. Second, the seasonal fans who will support when idols make a hit and famous and last one the random fans who don't care much about the idols but music is the one that draw them in. Twice is losing the third part now. Not a lot but still impacts.

this year they broke sooo many of their records and with the release of 'Cry For Me' we can definitely see that they are finally focusing more on the western market...I think that, only if JYPent and Republic Records will actually help with the promotions, TWICE's popularity will go much higher than it is now(Eyes Wide Open debuted at 72 on Billboard 200 without proper promotions/pre-order time...Aaand 2 months after release...Imagine if it was promoted better only)...I am sure JYPent will give them a proper break until Jeongyeon comes back and then they will dominate 2021 AS OT9!! I really disagree with your opinion...They haven't reached their peak yet!! And, Wannabe and Not Shy were iconic, I agree, but in rest TWICE achieved more than ITZY this year...Until JYP decides not to focus on TWICE anymore and just overwork ITZY and NiziU(yes, this will happen when TWICE is close to disbanding...but not anytime soon), TWICE still won't go anywhere...They are still the money-makers of the company...

I agree with what you said about Rosé, though I feel like she's either going to realiae a solo song or their going to skip her and Lisa will have hers before Rosé but I definitely see next year one of them, except jisoo, releasing a solo. I think they'll only have one comeback with little premonition and no album or mini album and the group will focus more on solo things. I also don't see them premoting as a group much internationally, covid . I think Rosé and/or Lisa will have their solo debut. Jisoo will focus on her acting and premoting her new show. Jennie will be on more variety shows... Maybe even comeback solo with a min album, but I feel like that it'll either happen with year or in only 2023. nope. that would be stupid. after 'The Album' in 2020 if they promote like that its going to be blackpinks down fall. they gained like double their popularity this year. I have a feeling we'are gonna get two mini albums. In the beggining of the year, rosés solo, then a bp comeback with mini album before or after jisoos drama so her snowdrop promotions dont interfere with blackpink promotions. after the cb lisa will have her solo and later in the year we'll have the second mini album. Thats because they need to keep there western and global hype up.

Big Hit is actually debuting a New Girl group this year, Bang Shi Hyuk said it at the last quarterly conference , While I believe Army would become a problem But, I think the Girl group will develop a strong enough fan base to last possible backlash from Army, Though I don't really know what issue Army could possibly have with the New GG, I know one fear could possibly be shipping, But All of the potential trainees fans have found who possibly could be apart of the group are quite young, There are other potential risks But I don't think it will the group back from having an amazing debut, Plus the Group will have contributions from Source Music as well

1. I feel like red velvet will have a comeback in early 2021 that will be a more mature side like Psycho or Bad Boy. It will be a full group comeback. It will be a surprise that just popped up like Psycho for me. I didn’t even know Psycho was going to happen until it appeared on my recommendations on Christmas Eve 😂
2. The big 3 girl groups might die (Blackpink, Twice, Red Velvet), and be replaced with the big 3 girl groups by the end of the year or 2022 (Yg’s new girl group, rumored to be called Baby Monsters, Itzy, and Aespa.)
3. I’ll call Yg’s new gg “Baby Monsters” for now, but that’s a rumored name. Baby Monsters will be a 4 member girl group with younger members, maybe in later teens like 15-19. They would have very “what’s considered to be pretty for Yg members.” They will have a badass girl crush, in your face concept that will be hard to digest.
4. Group names and soloist names will get weirder and weirder. Like the company just mashed some random letters and called it a group/soloist name.
5. Aespa’s story line will be a flop. Idk most storylines in kpop are weird to me. And their AI concept will flop too if it stays.

I do agree with the fact that twice is declining....they went from winning daesangs to made up prices for attendence....they also lost a lot of their korean fanbases and the gp didnt support them much either. The reason I think they are declining is because the only country they are the most popular in is japan and korea.
their japanese success is still up but korean success had a steep fall.they won a daesang on AAA and NO ONE was happy with it except their fans and they werer attackes SO MUCH by korean fanbases of baekhyun and BTS becaus they sold and charted better.

My predictions: Loona will make a flop comeback (single) and a bop comeback (mini album) this year. Jihyo is gonna be diagnosed with dysthymia and will have a breakdown that (maybe) ends with twice, i see her happy but disturbed and melancholic, excactly how dysthymia feels, she has passed the worst moments through twice, she's really strong, but i think she's gonna break. Iz*one is gonna change the concept to a more dark one, with sexy clothes, people is getting bored of "butterfly" concept, the girls also fit a lot to the sexy concept. (G)idle is gonna go HIGH HIGH, UP IN THE KPOP HEAVEN, with a whole album that is gonna be iconic as "The Album" of BLACKPINK. Before Jihyo be diagnosed with dysthymia, Twice and Blackpink will have a whole collaboration album and will be a BOP, maybe the most viewed video of youtube on 24 hours (and BTS will not beat them this time, not this year). @Aneeqa Saqib not the only korean song to reach 1 at hot 100 song, lovesick girls too. I just think it was bored, not bcs it's an r&b song, just because i don't find it catchy wich is not usual bcs i like r&b's a lot, just not a great song...
