With about a year left on CLC's contracts, we all knew this time would eventually come. It is sooner than I like... But we know Cube, and loving CLC the way I do, I don't blame any of them for doing what Elkie did. Cheshire, keep supporting Elkie and all the rest of the girls through this time, because it will effect them all, their spirit, moral and confidence will be low, and they all will need our support.

cube owns the brand name CLC so if they all left they wouldn't be CLC anymore. Kind of like some of the Pristin girls leaving and becoming Hinapia. I think this is the end of the road for them. They'll have seperate things going on like Sorn and her youtubes.

I’ve only seen a few videos about Elkie leaving from those very big Kpop channels which also shows how not a lot of ppl know about CLC. I absolutely despise Cube for doing this to CLC. They never gave them proper treatment and never, ever have I witnessed them promote CLC! They’re so incredibly talented, but yet so underrated bc of Cube. I’m so devastated that Elkie is leaving, but also very proud of her for standing up for herself! I am very worried for CLC’s future. Since they have a year left of their contract I honestly feel like i can only see them having 1 more comeback and then that’s it. They’ve been around for a while, but nobody knows about them, it’s sad. Helicopter was their most successful comeback imo since it gained a lot of attention and new fans, but still, in the end they’re very, very underrated. I will never forgive Cube for doing this to CLC and making Elkie leave (since it’s their fault that she’s leaving).

1. Elkie is planning on leaving CLC because she didn't get remuneration for her acting jobs and Cube gave up on CLC in Feb 2020
2. Cube applied for copyrights
For CLC name, logo and even their fandom name chesire on Nov 23 , if the application gets approved then the girls can't use the name CLC if they leave the company

I would love to see them re-debut with another company and just dominate. They were starting to get traction in late 2019, but without a physical release. Everyone was hoping that their first album would be on the heels of Devil. But, nope. CUBE shit the bed. They decided at that time that they are bailing on them. Not sure if COVID19 played into their decision or not. Helicopter was their biggest release to date. This was only a single album and during the pandemic no less.
I don't think it had something to do with the pandemic tbh, because it seems like Cube wasn't 100% invested in them a while before. but maybe it did play a part financially
