My favorite life moment is reading The Whale and the Snail to my children with this playing, it builds perfectly with the story and there is no other way to describe other than for 5 minute life is complete and perfect

This song sounds like discovering a beautiful untouched alien planet but with the heavy sadness of knowing you'll never see your own one again

I heard this song on Radio 6, driving to my folks, on Xmas day - what a wonderful song - very powerful. Not many songs I can remember when I first heard - If you have a half decent sound system and you can crank it up without starting war with the neighbors, sit down, put your phone down, tell everyone to be quiet for 5 minutes - enjoy...

I first heard this when Hannah appeared on bbc 6 music with Mark and Stuart. The track left me numb and distraught for about 20 mins after it was played, a situation that I have never experienced before due to many personal losses.
I have played it many times here since that day (here I am again) and a huge percentage of loss and grief has finally been lifted.
Thank you Hannah, there is magic in your music, I'm going to buy this on vinyl when I can and hopefully get to one of your shows.
    Thanks again Hannah.

I love the way the deep bass notes come in at the end. This music is soooo cinematic, I can see a spacecraft landing on an alien planet for the first time.😮

Only just heard this for the first time last week and felt I had to come here and say just how gorgeous I think this is, and how glorious it is that in this day and age there is music such as this being made. A beautiful, stirring song and a wonderful, wonderful album too (to anyone reading this, give it a listen if you haven't already)!

Music heals and this album has been a key part of the puzzle for me since losing my Mum to cancer in 2017. It makes me cry, but it’s a good cry.

Hannah, your love for synthesisers on Tom’s Listening Service brought me here, but truthfully you’ve been one of my favourite DJs for over a year thanks to Night Tracks. It’s difficult to describe the enveloping feeling of your selections, but for me it’s most like the earthy green blanket I climb into when I see the British countryside. Thank you for all of your music.

I happened across an episode of kiss me first.. admittedly charmed by the name and the romantic premise. I found the words of the last song and the first inspired. An unsurprising discovery following their author was (and still is, heh) the same artist. Yet I haven't heard another word so far, captivated instead by the lights and sounds. Of patterned particles, moved by colourful motes dancing with divinity - this and that I did not expect.
    Thank you for your talents.
    Your gift is Incredible.
I'm grateful to add your art to my mind that I collect. Dust ;)

Ps one more thank you for the musings 😋😏

If you like drifting out to the stars in my opinion you must, if you haven't already, check out albums by Jean-Michel Jarre or Vangelis. You might not come back though....lol...

Matt Oldfield needs to learn the difference between a 'song' and a 'piece of music'.
