This was helpful man thank you
love it keep up the good work!
Like wise bro 🤝
Awesome video! Was there a specific source all those tables/workouts came from?
Yeah I put it in the description. Thank you for watching
How should I train this summer, I’m a triple jumper and a 100m runner ? I also love the vids you go into depth which a lot of my coaches lack.
I would focus on improving my top speed, acceleration and speed endurance specific to my 100 meter event distance. And for the triple jump I would have a heavier focus on plyometrics and techniques specific to triple jump.
Is the recovery done when the rehearsal or set is over?
Who moved from 24.00 to 20.9 and how long did it take?
Can you provide a weekly training schedule
I was thinking about making a video in the future to show how to make a weekly training schedule.
as you said most coaches/systems avoid intensive tempo because it's bad/wrong technique and highly fatiguing.
Is this the reason why many do bodyweight circuit training as a form of intensive tempo?
I would personally say intensive tempo has its place in a sprinters training plan and can serve as a progression from extensive tempo. It can still train the glycolytic system but you need to keep doing other forms of training that fall in the 95-100% range.
How can I go from 24.00 to 22.97
Something that is commonly overlooked in 200 meter training is the importance of top speed and acceleration. A lot of people like to spam speed endurance but speed endurance training can only adapt to what is already there. Having said this it’s extremely important to improve your top speed and acceleration so speed endurance can adapt to that new level.
@@AdamPlanetary LOL. Everyone with some knowledge knows that the 200 is all about top speed. Nothing else matters! The athete witch the highest top speed wins. always!
Would you a help me with speed
What do you need help with
to run faster you have to sprint. No matter what the wording you have to increase your leg turnover.

Pretty good but no need to go above special endurance 1
Depends on the event you choose to run. Special endurance 1 is really important for 100 and 200 meter sprinters. But special endurance 2 is very important for 400/200 sprinters. Special endurance 2 would be outside the range of a 100 meter sprinter
@@AdamPlanetary you never need to go above 300m as a 400m sprinter. 600m would be wild. just become a distance runner at that point
@LeonEdwardsFitnessOfficial depending on the athlete doing distances over 400 meters could be beneficial to teach the athlete to run through the line. While these reps do have their time and place depending on individual needs and progression, 400 meter athletes can also benefit from doing 300s.
