They are a fantastic Scooter , I have the RA GP200 for over 15mth now . Very reliable , also these are fuel injector and Liquid cooled . Very nippy and indeed capable of over 70mph, Excellent with fuel economy. I have a Scomadi TL125CC which again has so far been brilliant again very reliable and easy to maintain. The Scomadi is five year old . Mainly plastic body panels as mine was second batch 2015 . This model is air cooled and carburettor set up .

In a recent article I read about the Chinese way of manufacture, these were called "ghost factories"; in that as soon as the day shift would shut down and go home, a little later a smaller second crew would arrive and start producing and shipping their product.

To be honest its nothing new, Ford has been doing it since they invented the production line. 8 hours shift, 3 shift a day.

I bought a Scomadi in the UK
I like the Royal Alloy , But they shafted Scomadi in more ways than stated on here, They ignored. Request to upgrade components and cost Scomadi a lot in Warranty claims.

I remember reading scootering magazine many years ago and seeing what Lambretta Innovations were doing in the world of bringing an auto, classic bodied scooter to the masses. They were putting a hell of a lot of money and effort into their bikes, I recall one even had carbon fibre panels. Very cool looking scooters they were too. I emailed them at one point to ask when we could expect to see a production model and they said it was to be soon. Years passed before I drove past a Scomadi sitting outside a local Piaggio dealer and when I got home I got on the web to see who was behind these bikes. Happily, I found out it was Franks company. When I found out about what Royal Alloy had done I was gutted. All those years for what? To their credit, they don't mention it on their website. My problem is, I like them and I hear they are a good bike. I kind of wish they were crap. Plus I can only get an RA where I live.

Based on the 2 we've had at the shop Hanway has a lot of work to do on the quality issues. We had a serious meltdown in the wiring harness, and the damn things are too chonky for anyone under about 5'9". Bring on a proper wiring harness with some thicker wiring and a fuel injector and figure out a way for my 5'4" wife to be able to ride it. Because she's got no problem riding her Vespa GTS300.

@@ClevelandMoto As I have stated elsewhere the Chinese HAD to up their game, with competition from India and other foreign countries (Not to mention motor bikes being outlawed in many Chinese cities) simply continuing to produce substandard products for the world market was not a viable plan for long term survivability and growth. The net result being the slow "Japanization" of the of the motorcycle/motor scooter industry on the mainland. Which can also mean for a customer, a short window of opportunity to make a value purchase before the Chinese prices also rise in "quality"

You couldn't give me a bike with fuel injection, other than to sell to some idiot. I have a 2009 Stella 2 stroke manual shift scooter and absolutely love it. But a big part of the reason why I love it and enjoy it so much is because it is a 2 stroke manual shift manual clutch scooter. You get a lot of interaction with the machine, which to me is what riding is all about. You also get the wonderful 2 stroke noise and smell, and the clunks, rattles, and squeaks that go with riding a vintage scooter. I really have no desire to own or ride a 4 stroke scooter with an automatic transmission and linked brakes, no matter how good it may look. I have over 14K miles on my Stella. And because vintage Vespa parts fit it, and are widely available, I should be able to keep it going for the rest of my life. I'm also on the lookout for a late '70s Vespa P200E. Modern scooters and motorcycles do nothing for me but turn me off.

The reality is, Scomadi didnt have a finished product and allowed hanway to correct some stuff. Without proper design protection it created a dispute around who owned what. The chinese are masters at taking ownership through design tweaks. Hanway spent a lot on production and manufacturing. A lot of inexperience on global licensing and trade practices was a big factor. nipclaw.blogspot.com/2017/11/scomadi-v-r-engineering-and-others.html?m=1

I came here to give you a like but I have clicked the dislike button. I have no pre intention to dislike it, after all the design of Royal Alloy TG 300 so eye catching and better than the others. But in this video I became aware that the RA makes replica of Lambretta and there are automatic speed transmission.
Till today I am maintaining my old Scooter with 2STROKE four speed transmission and metal body.
So I know how easy to handling a manual transmission vehicle.
No one is going to ride a replica.
