Hello my friend. Are used a variety of things. I tried rubbing alcohol. Odorless mineral spirits. I also tried nail polish remover. Each one gives you a different effect. Good luck

What a cool effect! Is that water soluble charcoal powder or just regular charcoal powder? Can you go back in with an eraser once the wash dries?

They are called mineral spirits and they are available at the hardware store
