    Thank you for posting this. I found it to be very informative and interesting. Also, your home is wonderful! All the plants you tend to make it feel so natural and healthy. I am convinced that this generates a very good state of being, there are also some scientific studies that confirm the positive effects of having living plants in our homes. If i were to have my way, I'd likely aspire to have lots of them, like you do. Having a lush and vibrant home environment around feels amazing!

    Hi Sean, this content is very useful cause I used to do foliage fertilizer until some people I met and told me not to do so cause it’s not much beneficial to the plants versus fertilize the root directly. Anyway, after seeing this episode I think I should continue back .. thanks!
    By the way, if morning is not possible, would evening a good time to do foliage fertilizer and what would be the best time in evening considered ok?

    • @onlyplants

      Evening is ok but its still best in the morning. Some plants that open up their stomata at night can benefit from evening sprays - ie sansevierias and cactii.

    • @onlyplants

  • @michaelbudde2352
    @michaelbudde2352 29 днів тому +1

    I like the concept of fertilizing the leaves, but I have a lot of plants which have the “lotus-effect”. So the surface of the leaves of these plants (especially Musa, Alocasia, Monstera) reject the solution immediately and so fertilizing is not possible. What do you do to avoid this? Putting a detergent into the solution? But this could have bad effects on the fertilizer, couldn’t it? 🤷🏻‍♂️

    • @onlyplants
