why do people complain about multi tool being made in China, when they’re most likely watching this video from cellphones made in China. the tool either works as intended or it doesn’t and if it works, is the price reasonable. love your vids, thank you

Little do they know that the brands that they think are made in the US are only assembled in the US with Chinese components

Unlike cellphones, EDC gear can be purchased from numerous countries that participate fairly in the global marketplace. Just because consumers have to purchase some items from China does not mean, imply, or suggest that consumers should be comfortable with purchasing all products from China.

So good that you're doing blue collar multitools. They're not famous names but they can outlast high end multitools. Glad to see makers out there looking after little people. Cheers mate from Australia.

I actually winced when you said you paid $50 for the Huntsman as I'm in the UK and I remember not too long ago seeing them at £27 which is $33 but they have gone up a bit since then as have all Victorinox and now the best price is £33 or $41. For £40 which is $50 you could still find a Tinker Deluxe if you wanted pliers instead of a saw.
On the other hand we pay a lot more for Leathermans. When the Squirt was still available it had gone up to £50 which is $62. I only paid $10 more for my Swisschamp at £57!

The Huntsman is a lot cheaper on Amazon right now, I realized after the fact, but it is listed at $49 in several places. That is unfortunate Leatherman pricing is so high overseas!!

Huntsman is a really good choice when you don't need a pair of pliers. Mine is 18 years old and still going strong.

Almost all SOG listings have disappeared form Ali and those that remain are significantly more expensive than before. Powerpint was around $23 and now it's $34.

Speaking of Roxon, it would appear they've had some updates to their 2in1 Knife/Scissor S501 (Now S501U) and Phantasy (Blade exchanger) in the form of new, black, textured scales and adding the blade exchanger to the 2in1.

I would assume a phillips screwdriver would be more useful than a corkscrew for most people, that is the only difference between the Huntsman and the Fieldmaster. Deluxe Tinker is a Fieldmaster with pliers instead of a saw.

Mr. Kincaid, do you know anything about Rocktol? They're probably made in the same factories as the other off brand tools. I purchased two of those and two Flissa for the holidays and give them out occasionally throughout the year. Do you notice a difference or have a preference in Bilbury, Swiss Tech or other brands made in China or are they more, a less the same quality just branded and packaged with different names? I love the Leatherman Rev at $39.99 but when buying that and four other multitools the $40 difference, with saving $10 for a Rocktol or Flissa makes a big difference. I give them to like me best friend's brothers or someone who likes my Leatherman but does have a multitool so it nice to get them started with something less expensive.

Most of the Wave and Surge clones seem fairly similar. I would like to try the Swisstech Surge clone but it's a bit pricey. That's pretty cool people are getting some nice gifts this year!

I'm surprised not to see Nextool Sailor mini (or Otacle P1) in this selection.

I think it's a great tool but I enjoy the uniqueness of the 14 in 1 so I picked it instead
