I am trying to get past the 40 miles a day for 75 days. What in the hell are the limits for human beings. This is the most motivating video I have ever watched in my life. I am a 79 year old vegan runner. I just finished running an hour a day for 45 days straight. Thanks to this video, I took one day off and will be back at it today. Thanks for the motivation.
You both are so inspiring! At 35 years old, I'm starting to run more than I ever have, and am really enjoying the challenge to get better and better. I've been vegan a year and love when "WE" show skeptics that a compassionate way of eating can also be super healthy and more than adequate for all, even athletes! Thank you for such great content, Rich! Robbie, I resonate with a lot in your journey, and thank you for having a public conversation! Keep the momentum, both of you! We appreciate it!
Awesome conversation. So much depth, so much to relate to --- even as a non-runner and much older generation! Plant based though. and that's the win win on all fronts :-) .
this guy is so relaxing to listen to....... makes me so happy to be eating this way, starting to run...... staying out of bs...... Blessings, guys. xoxoxo
Just mind blowing. You should be Knighted or something 😃. I know plant-based is not vegan necessarily, it’s just so far away from what we are conditioned to believe about having to eat meat if you’re an elite athlete.
Great session! So many of Robbie’s points and motivations resonated with me. When I went vegan 5.5 years ago it was an ethical decision, but environmentalism what a very close second. Health benefits were something that everyone seemed to talk about and that I thought would be cool, but weren’t a motivation.
These talks remind me of the book "The Dip" by Seth Godin, he talks about the goals we want to achieve in life but sometimes don't see that there's more time investment to make.
I wish more people understood that plant based and vegan are not synonymous terms. Most “vegan” food is just as unhealthy as the SAD diet. Whereas whole plant based foods are actually the best for longevity and health.
I think Nayonnaise and the other vegan spreads have 100 calories a spoon , and it's real easy to eat a whole jar in a few minutes , and love it , so delicious !
So we'll all die fit and healthy and vegan...I love it...nothingness, nothingness, ye children of man, and less I count you waking or dreaming! And NONE among the mortals, NONE, seeking to live, hath won more than to seem, and to cease again from his seeming. Sophocles
eating plant based also harms many animals..insecticides harm everything..being a vegetarian i dont understand this mentality humans are dangerous to the environment they live in.. unless everyone starts walk in.. environmental crisis is coz of agriculture.. just so much i know it all in the podcast🤷🏽

"One bad day has no correlation to the next." So true, folks. We can all hit the rest button everyday. Peace.
I said it once and I’ll say it again. Rich is just so great at bringing out the best in people.
I totally agree he's one of the best podcasters out there!
This guy Robbie is awesome! Running is the inverse of a drug. Great analogy.
I remember seeing him right before he crossed the Susquehanna River in Lancaster before work. Super inspiring
Beautiful interview and what a story of change and overcoming challenges.
Love the message at 1:39:14 "There's a couple of things that make me feel full. One is direction, the other is community, and feeling heard."
This is incredible, LOVE you both! Truly impactful people, thank you for all the inspiration.
Absolutely Excellent! Thank you!
“It was an interval race. 600 times 5 miles.” Rich got me cracking up with his comments ! 😜

Why didn't he just use the road
It was just a bad joke nothing more
Lol I took it as a joke (and got a nice chuckle from it) but I can certainly see where it would be taken differently.
@Nick Pascale I'm not autistic (I think) and took it seriously as well.... :-| --- Thought he was a mean troll tough.
