it is frustrating i used to love hopping on this game and grinding but im at the point where i havnt even touched it in a month, sad to see

I really think apex needs 3 important stuff:
1. Matchmaking, by making your skills based on time played, k/d/a and your last games placements
2.worthgrinding cosmetics, like you said rank skins, it would be cool to have a predator r301 skin, and the need to change the recoloring into a new system where you buy a color theme for a weapon
3.make more fun modes even if they're unbaleced, like make a gamemode where everyone have exclusive strong weapons like a one shot blast or a rocket, the more diverse the more the fun
more fun game modes would be a huge plus, that's why r5 reloaded has been so much for me
matchmaking is this game’s biggest issue. if respawn fixed that the game would be a lot better. as for cosmetics, they’re not that important to me, but i agree that they should make better skins for free stuff like challenges or the daily treasure packs. season 19 battle pass is also kind of shit. lastly, i agree on the game modes part. mixtape is a cool idea but i never play it because all the gamemodes like control and gun run fucking suck lol.
always appreciate your honest thoughts. i am literally feeling cringe seeing many youtubers praising Apex suddenly for no special reason. it feels very forceful like they got big chunk of money from EA to force viewers to play the game.

rats out of ranks they dont belong in, when apex is a pay to win game, pc specs, time to play, good teammates all are external factors that give others advantages, my position on rats is that patence is a virtue, they make the game more realistic , add a dynamic that gives gameplay variety and just because someone or group doesnt like how a game should be played , doesnt give them the right to dictate how it can be played. they can make it harder but rats imo have more skill than most preds due to their ability to adapt to their envierment rather than rely on enhanced advantages.being that they are stuck up dilusional deuchbags most of the time i enjoy how rats get under their skin.

100% agree with this, ive reached a point now where promotional content for the new heirloom or whatever skin they're trying to sell to us just feels more like mockery rather than something to actually get hyped about. ranked is the worst ive ever experienced since season 2 and pubs (solo Q) is all sweat no chill.
also, for those of you that don't know, apex on console (ps4 gen) is damn near unplayable. for example: 50% of olympus puts so much strain on my ssd ps4 pro that frames drop to around 40.. that's on top of the fact that high tier lobbies are incredibly laggy (high tier being pred lobbies, which effectively is every single lobby now..), this is after applying every trick in the book to reduce lag
i agree tbh, i feel like all these changes and updates barely change anything and we basically only get one every 3 months(mid seasons dont do anything anymore cuz it's just buffs for whoever gets a heirloom)
facts they love to gigabuff legends and weapons to make maximum profit on the skins and heirlooms
ranked challenges in order to rank up sounds like a horrible idea, apex's ssbm gives you sub 70 iq teammates and they can troll your rank up challenges

The problem with APEX isnt the game… it’s the players. Everyone quits matches and leaves teams hanging on their own for their own selfish reasons. People are the problem. As usual.
Yeah this player base is one of the most degenerate I've ever seen
Imperial Hal, switches to roller* starts comping about being beamed through Bangalore smokes with digi threats and now it’s getting nerfed. They could have just removed digi threats from crafter and solved the issue altogether, not to mention Dude has a chokehold on the devs and is removing everything that makes the game good, for example Kraber 1 shot in pubs, self res in pubs.
i miss my one shot kraber so much i would've had so many good clips if it was still around
@@complys I don’t understand why they don’t just make the ranked loot pool different like they do with comp. The Kraber 1 shot was fun and rewarding, and the self res helped a lot with solo queue in pubs. Just shows if the pros complain enough the devs will bend to their will.
@@ToastedTater420 Tbh the self res is awful, you just die with it everytime because even if you get knocked the whole squadron comes after you just to thirst you.
@@Sakiiboo In a competitive environment it sucked. But as a solo queue player in pubs if you got put with worse teammates and going against 3 stacks every game the self res gave you a slightly higher chance To stay alive and clutch.
@@ToastedTater420 The 3 stacks insta thirst you and tbag on your body while your teammates are either already dead and dced in 2 mins or they are across the whole map looting for 20 mins and dying in their first gunfight. I rarely got the gold knockdown and the only times it was ever useful as a solo is when I died across the from a Kraber shot in final zone. Usually just get insta thirsted so tbh the effect is just awful. If you get downed you should just expect that the game is already over by that point. It's nostalgic yes, I'd rather take something that's more consistent over rng. If I get to carry an extra bat per slot I would easily take that over self revive. Self revive was just too many variables. It's rng if you get it, then it's rng if you can even pull it off tbh. Too much out of my control, hence why I hate it. It's fun but also useless because everyone insta thirsts. Kraber one shots def need to come back for pubs thou.
I think they should have just reverted the season 9 changes that thickened the smoke and reduced the amount of particles providing less cover from the outside. Or maybe from the inside. I feel like it should either be easier to see from the inside without digi smoke or from the outside I don’t really know.

havin played apex since release in feb 2019, i started to feel the game fall off in season 8, having enjoyed all prior seasons before that i started to feel a decline in motivation to play the game i put 2500 hours into
Yeah around season 8-10 is when the game started falling off for me, I'd give anything for those season 3 days
It happens every season the pros and top streamers hype it up then a week in say how trash it is without bring up main problems. They’re all clowns paid to perform.

everything you said in this video i agree 100% with, i havent played apex in like a month, its so damn boring and when season 19 comes out gonna play it for 1 week and then quit again. they take years to put 1 small change and call it new season.

Horizon can Q on the air, pop a bat, cells, medkit, whatever u want, get to very high places and do really good rotations, also works for her team as well, but wraith phasing is too op and respawn had to nerf wraith almost every season since the game came out 🤡

I haven't played the game in a long long time. But I've reinstalled a few times since I've quit. And I just can't seem to get into a game without alt+F4 and uninstall. I dread going into a game every time and I used to love it. I'm itching for a fast paced shooter that isnt call of duty or battlefield which is a shit show STILL.
it sucks that this is still one of the best fast paced shooters out, nothing else really compares in terms of core gameplay

1:40 is why I quit ages ago. They could literally just make an update WITHOUT fixing or starting to fix the major issues in the game and people will praise the game to high moon.
Then when the honeymoon phase is gone people realise the game still has its issues but once another trailer comes from respawn, they praise it again and the cycle continues.
I always loved playing Wraith from the beginning, but I get constantly killed in the phase tunnel, and usually by a sniper. The phase makes no difference at all which makes wraith worthless...
If they just made a season with no content but to fix the game I wouldn’t even complain

Im a lvl 101 player. been playing for a year and a half. It was a good game and arenas is what brought me into it tbh. But now i dont feel like im improving, the game keeps on putting me in pred 3 stacks IN CASUAL LIKE WTF RESPAWN. I dont play ranked. my highest dmg is 1985. I cant play without getting teamed with the best players and the worst godDAMN teamates. i just feel like the game has worn me out.

All stuff aside Respwn really has to fix the core problems in apex, what's the point on making more and more content meanwhile the game itself is just broken, unfair and unenjoyable for a lot of people. It honestly sucks that there not putting focus on these things. People would rather have no content for the core game to be fun. I love Apex but I am starting to worry that if they keep neglecting these problems, new and current players (casuals and pros) would just quit entirely
Watching the "community" fight amongst themselves. One camp crying AA. The other movement tech. Both think the other is wrong, but both are actually right. It makes fights really boring when everyone has to deal with something they can't predict or react to. Be it some retarded movement, or getting AA glue on you.

U summed it up pretty well, im mostly a mixtape player past 2 seasons no point in playing br with how bad mm is for a solo player who is somewhat decent at the game and has to babysit his teammates.

Legend balance for the pros. Everything else is for casuals. EA priority is money then making casuals happy. Sad as this game was the peak of high-skilled BR. Now it just feels unfair and more and more like Warzone everyday

Nothing of value or worth returning to the game for unless there are fundamental changes to the MMR, server quality and sound issues.
A game performance and optimization would go a long ways as well.
Separate queues for premade squads in pubs, tighter team matchmaking in ranked so the skill is closer among the squad.
All the content creators praising s19 are just the usual boasting for click-types. This will not be enough to get people to come back to the game.
Steam charts has shown a steady decline since february, when they did the class changes. That was a good fundamental change. Stream viewership as also in the toilet since june and july. I think s19 will bring new all time lows in the game since s17.
agreed with all your points. After the new season hype dies down it'll definitely be lower numbers and viewship than ever before. Maybe it'll be a wake up call to respawn

Something that erked me was that you said Revenant get’s 30 seconds per kill, firstly the ultimate lasts for 30 seconds. 2nd, His ult extension per kill used to be 10 seconds, then they nerfed it down to 5 seconds. 3rd, they are now nerfing the TIME EXTENSION window from 30 seconds down to 3 seconds, so now instead of having a chance to get 30 extra seconds from killing 6 people you only can knock 1 person for a measly 3 extra seconds.
Also there was a “Can’t see” meta going on so they nerfed both Bangalore and Catalyst for the same reason, I don’t know why they nerfed Bang’s passive though.
And that’s pretty much it, the rest of the stuff you said was pretty much correct but I just couldn’t let slide someone saying Rev’s ult was mega op for no reason.

I completely understand you, friend, that's what I've been trying to say all this time to the Spanish-speaking community, but I've only come to the conclusion that the real problem is the conformist community that doesn't demand that the game be fixed. and I don't doubt that the nerf to banagalore is due to the rollers, the majority of people who play apex are in control whether on xbox, play station or PC and that is where the majority is who pays for their disgusting skins so if they your money goes away. but as I always say, they have the game they deserve and I don't think it will change.
i agree the best way to get the game to change is stop playing but its so hard because the core gameplay is good and like i said they know just how much content they need to put in to keep people engaged just enough

majorly agree with pretty much all you've stated. it is very true that once you're done experiencing the new additions, buffs and nerfs to the game, it does feel like just same old broken apex. As much as i love my controller brothers, i wish i wouldnt have to fight against overtuned aim assist. Another issue is with the ranking system as a solo...Playing against 3 stacks pro's isnt great when you have randoms that don't have alot of experience playing as a team or any game sense. I've hit Masters consistently since s8 as a solo (except s13 first split which was harder but felt nice hitting diamond at least) I've dropped this game for 2.5 seasons already and none of these changes look like anything that would make the game more healthier.
I'd love to see an aim assist nerf compensates with giving them moving while looting and tap strafe but I don't know if it'll be happen

I strongly agree that they should fix core fundamentals first. I understand your frustration as I have the same. That’s why I’m waiting for The Finals to be released and switch to it as main game. When they fix Apex I can give it a try again

I just saw a video which was explaning that they will eventually do some changes in S19, but it would be while the season is on. This seems like the same thing they did with S17 end where they messed up :D We will see comments for this one
They need to ask steam"valve" to engineer them a better engine optimization with the new source engine to make apex what it should have been. Make an apex 2 🤯 but even for 3rd partying having those Maggie storms from season 7 comeback to hold off 3rd choke point locations for rotstions, those helped alot actually. As for catalyst I would never have trouble especially if you have a team that knows to just be alert and melee the doors, she didnt need a nerf at all her last nerf was just fine now with 2 traps she is basically the worst defense player even caustic and watson have more traps then her wtf . Lifeline needs her shield back and they cant just buff rev with a full workaround and just fuck everything else up wtf 😂. Even bang she was fine didnt need anything but maybe not making teammates so blind or have a slight delay.

The creators who start their videos with, "thank you EA for sponsoring todays video" i turn it off. I loke playing apex, but this game is broken as hell, and new season with some changes isnt going to make me like it more. Fix the damn audio, servers next gen update and sbmm... me out here with two randoms all the time who do 50 damage in 15 min and i get 2k isnt fun. Its an annoying job

Lstar has the worst visual clutter and should stay in care package. Also bang has been a crutch legend forever now. 30% speed boost like Octane yet takes no damage is extremely unbalanced free movement. She needed a nerf ong. And respawning w/ guns and shield is counterproductive in BR. The whole point is to reduce players in lobby and decrease your opponent’s ability to survive. This is jus more hand holding bs for those who can’t be bothered to improve

Battle royales are sweat factories alot of ranked players come to casual just to swing their dick when they know they will get their asses handed to em in a ranked match. Unfortunately this has been happening for nearly 20 years now on shooters like cod. My advice go to co-op shooters like borderlands or warframe or even ugh destiny 2. I would say dead by daylight but.....yeah same issues as fps games and apex. Throw money at monster hunter atleast you would be better off cause you could put your gigachad brain to use and take out monsters with friends and randoms like its nothing....and yes I did play apex and I got my ass kicked to hell and back on pubs dude....told to kill myself and encountering hackers. (Had a few friends take them out) at this point much like cod....avoid apex ea doesn't give a shit

Dude matchmaking and also mixtape has been a travesty. Last season EA/respawn never even brought up the fact they put PC players in console lobbies for a 3 mixtape modes. To the point that PC players were abusing the crap out of it and just trolling and doing all these crazy movement we can even do on console. NVM also being of 40, 50 FPS compared to over 170 FPS at times for PC. They move so fast that it makes my game lag and then it comes back and I'm dead and I didn't get get a chance to fight or shoot my gun. Apex has A LOT of issues that have gone unnoticed or intentionally left out. And please for the love of God fix SBMM

For me, i just what to see better servers and match making. Im so sick of being placed with people that have thousands of hours and are massives sweats while having to deal with the shity ping at the same time, if those were fixed, this game would be a 20/10 for me but right now its a 6/10.
Things you start saying at 1:20 it is what I'm being saying from like 3 years by now, idk I lost the count. Apex deserves better servers and a good matchmaking, this would literally put the game where it need to be, and of course then there's more changes/upgrades to make yes, but those 2 I think are the key fundamental changes they need to do in order for people to re-enjoy apex again

Only worry is them loot you for red sheild would that mean people abuse that sheild feture feel be lot people red sheild

Good thing I didn't buy that Catalyst Medusa Skin... I mostly play Camping Legends to Deal with the Sweat bags as a solo quer, and I was over here saying Catalyst is weaker than Caustic, Wattson and Rampart because of the amount of traps you can set and doors you can lock... But after hearing Catalyst got nerfed I'm pretty upset to be honest it's like how I'm not happy with Caustic being nerfed. The Devs really don't like us camping this is why you can't camp with Octane anymore because you used to be able to block doors with his ultimate and you could have multiple jump pads and they couldn't be destroyed. This is also why they got rid of most high ground areas and slapped them with timers too or babied them with easy to get up on Ziplines.
Yep, I don't play Apex nearly as much as I used to. It's exhausting. Every time I get on, it's shitty MM, shit audio, and cheaters. Half the time, I'm not even enjoying it. Respawn is killing the game.

Had left the game for over a year, came back, literally nothing had changed except that it now has a worse ranked system that rewards pacifism... still, i'll probably play in this season because I miss the good old days of Apex
I hate the fact that you and a bunch of other people also clearly point out exactly what they can do to make the game better, but it doesn't matter how much we talk about these issues, they're literally not going to do anything about them, and it's not like they don't have the resources to do so, they just don't.
so many seasons have literally been the exact same thing now, new season drops, possibly new legend, play that legend for 1 week, get bored, then woah, 3 recolor events, so cool (if you can afford it). The writing fell off in the game as well, with the animation, like compare Season 3 and Season 4 introductions to the recent ones we've had, nothing has come close to Revenant's reveal and charecter design. Other than that, the balance team always seemed weird to me, I've always felt like they have no clue what they're doing, and changes to the care package are the most confusing thing ever, I still Don't understand what a boceck is doing in it

Nah! I know it may be hard to believe but alot of people enjoy the game and are looking forward to the changes, maybe you should switch it up and play slmething else. If your not excited for the new changes and feek like its nowhere near enough and then are going to complain about shit people have been wanting for ages its most likely you wont be happy with any changes and would find a reason to complain about it regardless. Probably time to hang it up and find a new game that satisfies you.
Ya the game is at the point where it needs fundamental technical fixes rather than just adding in some new content. Audio, visual clutter, aim assist etc. It amazes me how none of these things have been addressed. I don't understand what's going on over at Respawn but they seem pretty incompetent overall.

I feel like all i play this game for is to be fodder for people who stream and play pred. If you have 1 good high kill game you spend the next 3 hrs being stomped by preds and 5.9 kd sweats.
It's so irritating how they beat around the bush about giving Wraith actual buffs just because of her pickrate... like its okay, at this point i think she could get a little love and not destroy the meta LMAO
agreed, wraith was never even that great to begin with it's just good players picked her and made her seem stronger than she actually was
Battle pass is trash lately, and nothing gets done about banning zen packs from the game. I agree that rank should add more depth with items when you achieve a new rank . The 1 % are getting out of control with their wants and needs and where's these TF maps that they said will be in game ?

Imagine non skill based matchmaking so you play against all types of players? Its not fair to the top 1 percent to not be able to shit on the other 99. Also not fair that the bottom 1% single cell organisms get to have the same experience as best player in the game. Old cods had no sbmm and no body complained. But then people who were ass started playing and got catered
