As an Octane main for almost 4 years now, one big mistake I see so much from other Octanes is them just running at the enemy with their stim or jump pad while the enemy is at full health. Octane isn't Wraith, he has no way to get out of danger when focused and cornered. Octane is best used at medium to long range as he can follow up on big damage and shield cracks way quicker than most other Legends. The enemy will stop to use some heals only for the Octane to be there in a split second before they can finish. I use snipers and marksman rifles all the time with an SMG to finish off low health players after I crack them from a distance. While not as fun as just running and gunning with an SMG and shotgun, for ranked it's a much more consistent play style for climbing. Staying back and using the jump pad to punish the enemy for taking too much damage will result in more kills and less deaths from unlucky situations and 3rd parties.
Playing vantage is so fun ngl, being able to change ur position with ur tactical and mark/dmg enemies with ur sniper is amazing. Her passive actually helps alot too in my opinion, knowing what evo shields they have, what legends the enemy is and seeing how many people are left is just great.
Not hidden that's like the whole point of her passive, he didn't really mention anything about vantage that people don't know there's a lot of things you can do with eco if you master eco and if u only hit head shots with ult she's a ridiculous solo legend. Criminally underated
As of now, Mirage has been moved into the support class. Honestly I'm happy they moved him there too coz I always said he fits as a hybrid of both offense and support. More so over the buffs he's gotten overtime

Yeah, I’ve been mainly playing Fuse and recently got Mad Maggie. She’s excellent in the Mixtape playlist for drilling walls with snipers or bashing reinforced doors with the ball. Tons of fun voice lines like Fuse too.

This is very helpful. Only thing I wish u went over if the abilities can hurt or effect ur own teamates. Being new I never know if I can run thew somthing my teammate did or if I will hurt them aswell as the enemy
You forgot to mentioned skirmishers can tell if someone took the care package weapon and check what it is on the mini map which is insanely good to check if there is per example a kraber in play
I think i'll really like Seer, Loba and horizon if i do get to unlock them but for now wraith so i learn how to key, bloodhound if i feel my awareness is still not good enough and lifeline if i just want to be others to do the full pushing as i'm still new to the game
Rampart is s tier support I believe as long as your good at creating defensive positions in good areas you can lock and hold points better than most other legends period
I have this problem that every time I hit 1k kills on any legend I for some reason loose all interest in playing lmao. First it was Valk then path after that was octane and now I’m 700kills into loba (thanks to you) and I’m dreading that 1k kill mark💀
Im original crypto main with rare value got a high motor & very competitive but i mostly choose NewCastle, catalyst or caustic for my secondary choice but at the time i dont have a particular 3rd legend to focus with for getting to the next level in my ranked gameplay
I've wondered if Crypto's EMP should be percentage based; so 50%, rather than a flat out 50 damage regardless of shield type. It will be a little more deadly to red evo shields, while purple/gold will see no change. White and blue wouldn't take much damage but honestly they are not as intimidating on an enemy player compared to red armour, so yeah that's something.
On God crypto is under used/under rated, I just started maining him, I got a win on solo drop duos, and with a friend in duos, he is way more powerful than given credit for, and when in solo, he's perfect because you can scan players from ur opposite location, which can make then think your that direction allowing you a free pass to hide a bit longer, or, his ult ability, it can easily turn the tide of a battle.
Today i watched my teammate use mirage ultimate, walk into a wall, stand there for 5 seconds, turn around right to someone using a phoenix kit. blasted and thirsted 😂😂😂 funniest thing i seen in a while
Hey guys, i can't decide who to pick. i played a lot with Valk, Caustic, Horizon and bloodhound but i find Mirage, Lifeline, Lobe and Newcastle extrem cool too. The Most time i Play with Randoms or solo
Valk Horizon and Loba for solo q, loba shine with the loot too because when you're solo you'll be putting the most damage and might not be able to finish squads meaning you need more loot; you also can bracelet back to safety pretty easy and put a lot of distance, just don't forget you can drop the bracelet sooner to not get farmed because you're over there waiting for the bracelet to drop (sometimes smaller bracelets are better)
I'm trying to find a good legend that can support a team and also have a good kit for attacking too. I'm only level 60 and I thought I'd ask you. Please let me know what you think.
I just started playing Apex again for the first time in a while, so I still have multiple legends I can unlock. Which do you think I should choose next? Valkyrie, Seer, Loba, Mad Maggie, Catalyst, Caustic, Rampart, Horizon, or Newcastle? Thanks to anybody that answers!
It depends on your play style. Loba is definitely the easiest for a new player while still being extremely useful. Mad Maggie really helped me get better at the game with a more aggressive play style.
Valkyrie or Seer I think are the best overall depending on how you play! Newcastle is great as well but more of a support legend that can be pretty useful
I wish they buff mirage's skills.even just for a little bit. I don't see what's stopping them from implementing a really good q skill passive from Apex mobile into pc (When an enemy shoots your decoy, you turn invisible for 2?3? Seconds. I can see how such a skill could open up so many outplays without being too op since it relies on your enemies' decision making and ofcourse, your game sense
I’ve heard the path take a while and I’m not sure if it’s cause I played titanfall and hard mained grapple, but I don’t really find pathfinders grapple difficult the it’s physics aren’t very difficult to master some time in the practice range getting used to the grapple at different angles and different terrain and you should be able to get it down fairly quickly
Good video but you didn't address some character's weaknesses like Seer's ult not working if the enemy doesn't make sounds. Also, crypto's ult only damages shields, not health.
as a lifeline main. im sick of the day one players complaining that she doesnt have a shield. shes a combat medic. combat medics get up in the shit, get shot at and do their damn job. if you can play pathfinder, or any other legend that doesnt have a tactical, which directly gets you damage and kills, the only reason youre not playing lifeline is because either you jumped on the hate bandwagon, you never do your 1 fucking job (which is keep your team alive) or you simply suck at the game. stop complaining. get better. evolve, adapt. get gud. deal with the changes and have fun.
I’m currently maining rampart for some time. Im looking for something more aggressive and i’m struggling to wich legend main . I struggle beetween fuse, horizon and rampart. Can someone help, pleasee??
Fuse definitely. Knuckle cluster is constant free damage, has ridiculous range and is easy to stick to enemies. The ultimate is more situational but can be used defensively too. You can carry a lot of ordnances and go bananas whenever. Also has some of the best quips in the game.
I've been playing path since season 1 and I really don't understand how he could be considered remotely difficult. Maybe more clarification would clear it up, but to me he seems like one of the easiest in the game.

Vantage also has a "hidden" passive, which let's her zoom in while her weapons are holstered and it also gives the info of the passive.

I'd say give mirage a shot. He's the strongest he has ever been right now and he's always a blast to play
Mirage is definitely the most a-typical and it could be fun to play differently. Newcastle is the best of the ones you listed, imo.
If you're playing for fun then go Mirage if you're playing for keeps and getting serious Castle will take you far
