I just had an interaction with my boss where he told me more or less that I need to care less about my employees, that this is just a job and to more or less be meaner. That isn’t how I see myself as a leader and I told him as much. I want to come to work and care for my employees. I can have hard conversations, but still maintain dignity, respect and caring while having them. Yes it is harder and it takes time, but it is so worth it. I’m not here to burn through people, but to help them grow. Thank you!

Thank you for this video. Gratitude is the biggest thing I preach about constantly. To anyone who asks. I've had a lot of stuff ripped for me. Multiple times. Even to the point of going to jail and losing everything and having to build all the way back up again. I have so many reasons to be a cynical piece of shit. But I found that gratitude is the key to succeeding over any obstacle that gets put in front of me. So thank you for just confirming that what I am going through isn't just some one-off crazy idea... Because anytime I try to tell someone all it takes is gratitude, I always get looked at like I have seven heads and more times than not I'm told to fuck off. 🤷🏻♂️
