    My three takeaways:
    1. "The thing I fear the most is regret. There is nothing more painful than the question: What if...?"
    2. Be grateful. This is the greatest era to be alive. Take your chance. Stop complaining!
    3. "You need to be a generalist first than you can tell what you're an expert in. You don't know where you best at." Taste everything. Trial & Error!

People are 'lazy' or 'don't follow through' or whatever, due to the thoughts going on in their mind. Yes, thank you for validating that. And thank you for having empathy for it, because a lot of these beliefs start in childhood, and we wander through adulthood, completely unaware it's effecting our everyday lives.

There have been a lot of videos I have watched from you on your other channels, as well as this one, but today is the one I comment on. I refuse to look back in 30 years and NOT be part of the 1% that DID! The struggle is real, I wont lie, but I have been self motivated all my life, self taught in everything I have done. I have a degree in criminal justice I dont even use because after I graduated I decided I wanted in cyber security, not physical security.
This year I celebrate my 10th year as a information security engineer with no degree in it whats so ever, all because I spent countless hours learning to code, hack, build programs and learning everything I can on my own. I am 43 years old and refuse to quit. I know exactly what I want to do every day and his year I have realized its not what I currently do everyday. I want to make content, inspire people and change lives. It could be from a simple smile to a random act of kindness. I never know what that person is going through on the other side of the computer watching me. The thought of my vlog's, my videos, some how, some way changing that person's life is worth every hour I spend on this.
No its not a full time thing right now, but one day it will be, because I love obtaining goals, thats my motivation. Thanks for everything you do Gary! I appreciate it more than you will ever know my friend!
edit: Realized I put this originally on the archives channel :)

I loved that and that helped me. I left medicine college to start a new life cause I saw that if i continued it would be a huge mistake.
I imagined myself at the last of days and as a doctor I would have lost everything which is important. The reason for me to be there was my mother's opinion and my lack of courage. When I realized that the only choice I could make was to go back and restart everything.
Now I'm recreating oportunities for me.

Gary, I really enjoy your videos. After being strictly a writer for two decades, breaking into video was terrifying. I gave myself all the typical excuses not to do it: I'm an introvert, I'm not attractive like those other ladies, people will make fun of me, etc. So much of this came from being picked on when I was in high school. Can you imagine it? I'm 45 and still have hangups from high school? Incredible. But I'm making those videos now. I struggle with the insecurity, but the people I have been able to connect with during this journey have been incredible. Thank-you.

Dear Mr. Gary... I watch You everyday and it helps me going on. From my side, it is not a legacy, but I am willing to give away (invest in people) and gain from it. In the past, long time ago people wouldnt share their knowledge and skill in fear of competition. I am really, really glad that these days are over. I see it in Indigo Colour; I mean the future. Making my own business bla, bla... but I have worked in factories to learn in some cases how people should not be treated. It is wonderful to see the practicality of your approach and its achievement in order to realise, that being good wins : )

Gary just want to say thank you for all the amazing content you put out. A lot of this stuff I self taught myself as well. I learned how to create a UA-cam channel at 31 years old, and 2 years later something that I did for fun has grown and is now monetized and I'm receiving the dividends off of that time spent. I didn't really understand LinkedIn until I found your videos, I just knew that it was a place for professionals to share their resumes. Being honest I had to hear 3 or 4 of your videos on this topic to finally do it. But after hearing it enough, it clicked, and I just posted my very first LinkedIn post which still says it has 21 minutes to upload (video). You're 100% right, there is so much opportunity out there right now, it will be interesting to see what the human species will accomplish in the next 10 - 20 years. We are at the beginning of something huge and I believe it will not only change how we make money or say currency, but also how we communicate with each other in a drastic way.

I am so stoked by the information that I just received from the 2 Gary vee vids that I just watched. Holy smokes! The clarity and confidence that I just realized is transformational. It was key 🔑 to helping me to direct my energy now.
I am kind of stuck. Just starting to make real stuff that I have learned from my own experiences

Hey, Gary. Great stuff! Let me start at the end and just say how awesome it was of you to be willing to take a photo with the guy at the end of the video. In a world of busy-ness, you never seem too busy to give back and lift people.
I’ve watched other videos of yours and your comments about putting out content got me to start putting out content myself. Based on what you said, I realized I was too worried about people I may never meet not liking me or telling me I was stupid. I was was also too worried about what people I do know thinking stuff about me. Putting both of those fears to death. I realized that was ridiculous and holding me back so thanks for that.
Right now I put out content for two UA-cam channels on a weekly basis. All I have is my phone, but I’m doing it and I’m getting over that mental barrier.
The final lesson I learned that I thought was great was where you said (and I am paraphrasing) “Give back and expect nothing in return.” That’s a revolutionary attitude that definitely helped me check myself and ensure my motivations are in the right place.
    All the best, Gary!

Great video as always. They always push me to step out of my way. Your videos really pushed me to believe in myself enough to take my UA-cam channel in a new direction and start going hard with Amazon FBA. Consistency is the hardest part with taking on a new venture so these daily vids really help me to stay focused and keep pushing forward. Here's to staying consistent for the next 20 years.

I really enjoyed this talk! The charisma that you have on stage and your bluntness is amazing. I do hope that I can be that 1 percent that actually does something and creates the content that I enjoy.
