If only one wire is connected at the output of ups, then the rccb cab cannot be connected. You must connect 2 wires at the output of ups to make rccb work. In such case, you can connect rccb at the load side, which has 2 wires.

Jab mains rehta hai to inverter se bypass hokar connection rehta hai to usko neutral dena hoga aur fir inverter par jab load rehta hai to wo single wire wala hi kiya hua hai. Thank you sir for sharing this information and please give me reply for the following, *The grid side main rccb is in off state or the neutral and grid power is in open state whther the inverter rccb will work or not? *i have been installed rccb protection in inverter as per your connection, but i have facing the above mentioned issue. *As per this connection the inverter rccb will works perfectly if the grid rccb and grid isolator is in ON condition.
For UPS out rccb to work, a current path through earth should complete due to leakage between line and earth due to some reason. But it depeds upon design of ups. In your case rccb of Ups output does not work if incomer is open. Then this should not be considered the problem. UPS might have been designed for no leakage current or very less leakage current path {similer to floating system}. There may be many ways to design some equipments. Actual reason can be find out by stuty of the diagram of equipment. However circuit diagram are not available for all the equipments.

Hello Namaskar Agarwal ji, I want to install Rccb (30ma) for safety reasons at my home but I m not able to do as my leakage current (overall from main grounding wire) is around 50-100ma . This keeps on increasing if I switch on geyzer (water heater) (by additional 100ma). How do I reduce this overall leakage current to less than 15ma Regards Hitesh
Sir what is the benefit of splitting 2MCBs for heavy and light loads? Why can't we use the same method with higher rated eg. 40A MCB--> 40A RCCB--> then split for heavy load and another wire for UPS inverter -->mcb--> rccb--> light loads.

Sahi kaha, 1 wire hota hai but yeh galat tarika hai. Mainey apne ghar mey dono wire lagvaye hai. Mainey wiring se pahiley hi electrician ko bataya ki 2 wire lagana hai. Agar 1 hi lagao ge then, mujhe tumse kaam nahi karana. Dono wire lagane chahiye. Heater load etc inverter se nahi lagata, yeh video me explain kiya hai.

Nice information sir. But my question is in normal tecnitians for inverter they give only phase wire, for neutral they took common already installed.
At the output of my home UPS, all yhe 3 points earth neutral and phase are there. May be , some cheap type may give only phade as you said.

no.. ups ke baad vala 32a ka lagane ki jarurt nai. agar ups ki supply 3 bed rooms se he to 16amp ka kafi hai.
