What is an Inverter?
An inverter converts the DC voltage to an AC voltage. In most cases, the input DC voltage is usually lower while the output AC is equal to the grid supply voltage 240 Volts
The inverter may be built as standalone equipment for applications such as solar power, or to work as a backup power supply from batteries which are charged separately.
The other configuration is when it is a part of a bigger circuit such as a power supply unit, or a UPS. In this case, the inverter input DC is from the rectified mains AC in the PSU, while from either the rectified AC in the in the UPS when there is power, and from the batteries whenever there is a power failure.
There are different types of inverters based on the shape of the switching waveform. These have varying circuit configurations, efficiencies, advantages and disadvantages
An inverter provides an ac voltage from dc power sources and is useful in powering electronics and electrical equipment rated at the ac mains voltage. In addition they are widely used in the switched mode power supplies inverting stages. The circuits are classified according the switching technology and switch type, the waveform, the frequency and output waveform.

Hi, I have a question. I have 2 separate meters at my home, connected to common inverter with common neutral. Whenever the inverter is on, RCCB trips. Using MCB resolves the problem, but I dont want to compromise safety. Please help with solutions

Mcb and RCCB use karne ki jarurat nahi hai. simple purchase havells PRCD adapter 16A 30mA aur inverter ke output plug m daal do aur phir output supply prcd adapter se le lo. this is very simple.

@@bhattrahul I have setup inverter connection at my home single phase connection. My Electrician has setup both phase and neutral wiring for inverter and i am using Havells PRCD adapter for safety. Most of the electricians don't connect neutral wiring, only experienced ones do.

If i touch a load which is without inverter connection in case the main rccb will be trip and main supply cut down ,but at this time inveter supply neutral to whole house with his input cable

What's the reason UPS always mentioned battery low
Inverter out line is only single phase line only. How can make nutral line here.There is no plug top in my inverter. Line is connecting directly to terminal provided. Only one nutral line is there.
