- I put the JDM/EUDM Trans Control Unit in my 2007 Forester XT Sport, along with a harness I customer made for adding the sport shifter and the power/hold toggle switch. This is a quick rundown during testing. Next step is installing the shifter as well as the paddle shifters on the steering column.
You still making these kits bro??
I'll second that 🙌🔥
What do I have to do to fit sports shift from a 07 into my preface 2005 Subaru Forester xt
Or 04^^^

Cambiaste el tcm para poder cambiar la selectora??
So you don’t actually need anything but that part to use the sport shift?
Not exactly, what you see here is a white jumper harness I made for testing purposes. It's plugged into the sport shifter, which would normally be where the stock shifter is, and then it's plugged into the custom "plus and play" harness I made. The custom harness goes from the shifter to the TCU (trans control unit). The harness also lets you use paddle shifters as well and it lets you use the the power/hold button as well. Of course to use any of this you need, at the very least, the sport shifter, my harness, and a JDM or EUDM trans control unit with sport shift programmed to it from Subaru. The it's all plug and play after that.
@@turnstylevisuals3297 I heard you could also use a 2004 USDM baja sport shifter and tcu. Could be wrong tho, I'm looking into this mod myself. Thanks for the upload
@@hustleheadies1639 you absolutely can. Keep in mind though, if your trans has the MPT center diff instead of the VTD center diff you will have to swap the center diff from the Baja XT as well.
Will your harness tell the dashboard what gear it's in? I did the baja tcu and shifter swap in mine and that's the only part that doesn't work

Could this be implemented in the sf5 automatic ej205 turbo. Perhaps change gearbox computer? Since it is a 4eat as well
I wanna know this too but a usdm sf
I have a Subaru sg5 2004 cross sport jdm with allready a sportshift. Is there a possibility i can just plug and play paddleshifters on my car? Or do i need to make a special wire from te paddles to the gearbox?

Can i just add this to an SG5 Cross Sport?

Is that a phase 2 version 2 4eat?
Can this be done on a phase 2 version 1 4eat in my 05 Wrx?
I would LOVE to convert to sportshift!
This is a Phase 2 Version 2 4EAT. Since this is my Sport trim 07 FXT, it came with the VTD center diff, also came with the VDC traction control. In order to run sportshift you need to find the correct TCU from outside the US programmed with sportshift. In order to determine which TCU you need, you’ll have to figure out if you need one with or without VDC, with a 2plug connector or 3plug connector, with VTD or non-VTD.
@@turnstylevisuals3297 pretty sure its p2v1 4eat with vtd without vdc.
I've been wanting to convert to sportshift but never seen anybody successfully do so. Until now
IDK but I do know that you could get this sportshift on the Subaru Baja in the US, so whatever trans that thing had.
@@quintonulm2435 you also need the VTD diff and the TCU
@@turnstylevisuals3297 I trust you cause I really don’t know a whole lot of specifics about foresters. Do you know if the Baja had the VTD diff or just a regular old MPT clutch?
How can I purchase your harness

Sirve o no para subaru legacy año 2000 AT
does anyone know if you can change the actual gearknob its self
I need that? Price?
I have sold 5 kits so far, they come with the custom harness from me, the OEM sport shifter, the power/hold button with the trim and a TCU for $600. Some of them asked for the paddle shifters as well and those sold for $900. To put it into perspective, the TCUs and shifters are super hard to get, rare. A brand new TCU from subaru is $800-$900... Wild
@@turnstylevisuals3297 how can I speak with you to get a kit made and sent to me for this?
@@turnstylevisuals3297 can this work w 2005 wrx ?
Hey I need that ???
