Giiirl, you're like one of my besties in my head. Lol I'm conversational in Spanish & French, besides my native English. I love travel, culture & languages. So I admire your mastery of so many languages & your world view! I enjoy your videos.
Me motivas.
Thank you for the advice! Im currently in brasil right now and i really dont want to forget Portugese when i get back to my country. This was helpful for me, thank you! 😊
Catherine Elizabeth Oi tenho essa problema! I got back from Brasil recently because of the whole Corona thing and I’m so scared to forget it especially when I live super close to Mexico and my family speaks Spanish. I want to learn Spanish or go back to French which I studied in High School- but I worked SO hard to finally learn Portuguese and I don’t want to forget it!
sis you look great?? thank you for this video btw
Thank you!
Thank you! This video was really helpful and fun! As always thanks for the tips and the help!
Talking to natives is my main advice as well.
I’m in awe of you for your ability to speak so many languages well. You have a gift, and ears, and a mind for learning languages. 💜
*I love your videos, new sub! My dream is to be trilingual, so far I have Romanian and English, but RO needs some brushing up, and I would love to learn Spanish, or Latin, or an Asian language, there's so many I want to learn!*
I listen to podcasts in the target language and sort of repeat what they’re saying to myself in my head as if I would be saying it out loud kinda thing
Follow me on Instagram @msurbaneve on my travel adventures and see how I keep my languages fresh. This time I’m learning Arabic in Morocco!💚
Grüße aus Luxemburg🇱🇺 (Bist einfach fantastisch :D)
Omg you're so pretty
One you didn't list is Tandem. I didn't like it because I prefer texting and this one mostly encourages actually calling people. I tried HelloTalk also and messaged like 20 people but no-one replied. :( I might try HiNative next.
that happens! You just gotta keep trying. one day might be a cold day but a few days later, you might get a few people.
Very helpful!
Thank you for this.
So at what age did you start learning new languages? Did you learn at school, home or learn as an adult?
Blessings
Tay💛
Unique Dancer Tay she has a previous video somewhere where she explains all of that in detail :)
Yes, I answer all of those questions in my most popular videos. You can check my channel out for that!;)
Thankss
How about to learn russian ?
Thank you 😊
Do you think of learning another language or you are just fine with the languages you are fluent at.
it’s weird bc i speak french fluently but bc i haven’t practiced for years i have forgotten like words if that makes sense? so i can speak for hours w someone in french but every few mins i’ll have to say wait how do u say door again? how do i say i used to? snd it’s annoying !
great video 😊
*I'm happy I know how to roll my Rs already haha, great video! speaking to natives is KEY tip*
I live in NYC, and I'm really going to utilize my city...there are ppl from everywhere. I'm going to learn French...then other languages. The only thing, I don't want to pick up bad habits...because some native speakers don't speak their mother language properly. For instance, some English speakers don't enunciate properly etc. etc. What tips you have to minimize this fear?
Hello! 👠👑👑
Great! But then Can you recommend any app?
Kwasi Yonkopa Tandem is a good app for this :)
But I experienced that the app didn‘t really work for me because you always switch between your native language, the language you want to learn and English
chimpou h I checked it out unfortunately it's not available in my country
Duolingo is great app
futuremrsbillionaire I'm using Duolingo, However I need an app that connects you to native speakers
Kwasi Yonkopa a good app is HelloTalk. You meet others who know the language you are trying to learn. You also help them with your native language.
Pretty girl ❤
Thank you!! ❤
well, i'm learning english and to be honest my english is good, i can tell that, but recently i'm kinda forgetting my english because i am LITERALLY surround by my native language, and i spend too much time speaking my native language {which is portuguese} and sometimes when i'm speaking english and trying to practice it, i just forget some words while i'm talking and i feel kind of embarrising, AND I JUST HATE THIS FEELING CUZ I REALIZE THAT I'M JUST GETTING WORSE IN ENGLISH.
seriously, what do i do ? i really don't wanna forget it.
Paris
😱❤️
Hey, I recently started learning Portugués, after becoming fluent in Spanish. Do you know any good Brazilian novelas or podcasts that can assist me with feeling more confident with Portugués?
You clearly have an accent, and I take you very seriously
I said the same thing. I don’t think we can hear our own accents.
I live in Canada and I don't know any natives
