Oh wow that’s such a cool first campsite!!! The food looks delicious -that’s definitely the way to hike! We are planning out Peru hike to Matchu Picchu and are getting so excited watching this video!! Thanks for sharing!

Nice video, I really enjoyed it. I love your hiking videos, you are a great hiker, photographer, editor. I love your cute face and especially when you smile with your pretty hair. The berry juice on your face looked cute too the way he did it. The food looked fantastic! The little brown/black puppy was so cute. I would love to be with that dog. I have many times wanted to go to this place but never booked it. Would have been fun to have gone with you. Would love to meet you because I can tell you are a sweet person. I am subscribing because I want to help you get some money but I hope you will put more hiking picture on with you as I would love to see you in more places. As I said elsewhere, come to Joseph, Oregon and hike the high Wallowa wilderness. Thanks for sharing.
Great video - I’m thinking of doing the same trek next year. I can see from other comments that you used Salkantay Trekking company. Did you book the basic or premium package? Thanks
Hi! Im going in the beggining of June:) can I ask what type of hiking shoe did you bring? i cant choose :D also were you ok in normal workout leggings or are those some special thermo ones?
What a great video. Thanks for recording your adventure and sharing it with all of us. The night photos you took inside the tent.... did you have to take a long exposure? They turned out great.
Sooo nice you did climb the 1000 steps from Aguas calientes to Macchu Picchu and hike all the road from the start. I've been searching for this video, because all the others I watched before took the bus on the final hike to Macchu Picchu and some others rode horses or mules on second day of Salkantay trek. In my opinion, that's kind of cheat. Did you considered to use the bus as well?
I am doing this 5 day trek from May 23 thru 27 2022. I cannot wait!!! Thank you for this video 🥰 Is there anything on reflection you wish you knew ahead of time?
That is so exciting! It is an amazing hike. I would have maybe stayed one more day in Cusco before hiking to acclimatize. Also, make sure to drink lots of water and eat well. I got a bit of altitude sickness but not bad at all. I overpacked a bit on layers. My trekking company provided warm blankets.
Hello thanks for this great video. I am actually preparing for this trip with Salkantay Trek company and would like to know how hard is the trek especially second day. What kind of practice you did before the trip ?
It is pretty difficult, but nothing crazy. The descent on the second day hurt my toes. I did not do much training before, mostly long walks uphill. I would make sure you drink a ton of water and eat well so you don't get altitude sickness. And spend some time at high altitude to climatize.
This was amazing! What a great video - you captured the best parts and I felt like I was there with you :) Was your entire group vegan? I would love to do something like that. Thank you so much for sharing this.
Loved your video of your trip! I'm thinking of doing this trip with Wild Women Expeditions...but I'm vegan and I see you were able to get vegan food the whole time. Did you sign up for a vegan tour, or was it just a regular tour who happened to have loads of vegan options for you?

Thanks! It was a fun trip.
A very interesting video. I prefer the original 4 day Inca Trail which I actually completed in 3 days.
I haven't done that one, but I'm sure it's nice!
Thank you so much for sharing. Great camera work capturing highlights of the trek. What lens did you use on the Sony a7r3? Thanks!

apart that it was great to watch, amazing as always : )
I'll have to add more next time :) Thank you!

Is the 4th day worth it? I'm undecided whether to do the full 5 day trek or cut it short and do 4 days.
