On Tony Brown, I think he would have done himself an injury in his hurry to accept a job in NZ, but don't forget that he also spent some time in SA as a player and purportedly enjoyed his time in Durban. I remember him on the Breakdown after the 'Boks won the WC in 2019, he said that he believed that all SA needed was a good coach and they would be almost unbeatable. Rassie deserves heaps of credit for being able to assemble a team of coaches to attend the team of players that he has already assembled. in less than 10 years he has taken SA rugby from a group of 20 odd quality players playing a dour and disjointed game to a national team that could possibly have 2 teams in a WC semi final weekend.
Love the show. Just stumbled accross it. The question is where would a SA boy find a girl that knows so much about rugby in Auckland. Keep up the good work and looking forward to the weekends matches. Sure the AB's will bounce back and go the Bokke.
Great listening to your insights. Expect Joe to motivate the guys like never before, I believe Oz will be up for this encounter in a big way. That compounded with ten new caps presents the promise of a mouth watering prospect. Rassie knows that he has an embarrassment of riches ito talent. In my opinion he’s giving some of the young guns a chance to step up for the next four years. Just my 5c. With regards the NZ game, Razor finds himself in a somewhat unfamiliar territory. Commenting after the game that some of the players didn’t execute the game plan could be a cause for concern. Thanks to tequila, the Argies will be without the inspiration of Creevy. My heart says Arg but my head says that ABs will be back with vengeance. We’re in for a good weekend of tight rugby. Enjoy.
Tony abandoned ship and chose a rugby environment that fits his innovative approach...he and Rassie fit like a glove....Razor is finding out that SR isn't as hard as test rugby...and that SR isn't what it was....players playing in URC and Euro cup last weekend in both teams out muscled and out lasted SR players....URC and Euro cup/champions cup players are more physically and mentally tough🤷🏼♂️
W hat I wonder is, if the South made a team like the British & Irish Lions....How many AB's and Wallabies currently would be chosen? A team like that would mostly consist of an SA and Arg team currently. NZ really have to allow their overseas contingent to play, same as the Boks do. Their best players does not ply their trade in NZ. Same with the Aussies.
New Zealand is playing Super Rugby to prepare for test matches a comp with only about 15 Rounds +3 knockout games all Blacks are constantly getting rested in the few games they can play same with Australia at least they don’t rest as much guys but basically every other good team are in the European triarchy and Champions/Challenge cup with at least 18 rounds but can be a lot more plus knockout games in the base comp + at least 4 more in the euros but can go up to 8 and the South Africans are also playing currie cup like I don’t understand how you got it into your guys head that less games is a good thing outside of tests how many tough games are you playing like 5
Aus and NZ made their bed...SA found some financial backing and joined a comp that is more physically and mentally tough, learning to play clever rugby....and it shows in the Argies guys too....SR is weak...and it shows in Aus and ABs. Argies to pull off the double.
Aussies have a good coach and some good talent...they should be okay for the WC...they just need to get enough of the young talent playing with the good experienced players.
@@JohnN-yu8kr that aint happening bro Rassie has him till next WC atleast this is professional he is a long term investment is Springbok rugby and he would have known that before excepting the job
All black rugby has gone backwards since the world cup.Razor and hes coaching staff are technically very poor and lack innovation in attack and defence!!! Razor ia going to be a bigger disaster than Foster!!!

SA would be rubbish if they only played the Aussies. NZ doing ok considering they play in such a poor short league
