    I appreciate the way you explain everything. Im a new Duramax owner (work truck) but I love it. It's not luxury but it does everything I ask it to do without fail. Yall may get a visit from me when my warranty is up lol

      Nothing wrong with the wt I have a 2017 L5p I think it’s called a work truck with options it’s power locks and windows vinyl floor love it floor shift 4x4 you know it’s locked in it you get tuning done make sure you tell them you have a floor shift 4x4 don’t know why but for emissions on tuning it makes a difference

      @@bruceshepard1136floor shift uses an electric solenoid so it is no more reliable that the dial really. I always buy the WT or “pro” trim as well. Just bought a 23 I dont like all the gimmicks and aids the higher trims have. Wish they stopped with the techy stuff at 2015 levels.

    So why isn’t it making over 600 then just wondering what your conclusion is you took it to a different dyno and it was still light on the power I would be a little disappointed if I paid for a turbo and piping just to get power I could have received from just tuning not bashing just curious as to why

    You keep delivering good reliable no BS content. This is what we need. Not some 🤡 claiming this or that. Actual power with data to prove it. And all for the sake of not melting the truck down. Keep up the great work! I really appreciate the work it takes to do this! 🇺🇸💪🏼🇺🇸

    It's pretty easy to make big power with a fully deleted L5P. Even a stock turbo with no egr loss can put 540 to the ground.

    I’m curious on these L5P set ups if you left the fan at the bottom pointed at the air box, closed the hood, and placed fan #2 directly at the hood scoop if it would perform different? The upper fan might not be getting air to the air filter. Especially if it still had the factory air box. Maybe give it a try and see if it alters the numbers. This might net you 0 HP. Or it may gain us some!

    What was the turbo inlet and outlet pressures through the RPM range? Looks like you made a ton of smoke? You have a lot of fuel that is not getting burned.

      We can only post turbo pressure for pre turbo we measure mass air flow sir !

    Why didn’t you add more fuel ?I know you showed it dropping rail but only by 1000 ,you didn’t show that u were adding more pulse But you said you drop back timing I’m so disappointed I really wanted to see that turbo perform can’t you please dual fuel that thing or stoked cp3 conversion before you swap to an S 400 frame I know you’re not a VGT fan but we all want to have our cake and eat it too drivability with VGT is non-comparable to the tightest turban housing 400 frame charger please give it another shot with more fuel

      The Dyno results! Are expectation weren’t met. But it’s always a reality check when we dyno vs what is said on the internet.

    Just so that we all can learn something can’t u throw a set of stock tires on the rear and give it another rip I know time is money but I’m sure so many people would love to see that comparison

    Hello there! I notice that you work on all 3 brands. Out of the 3 domestic diesel platforms, which do you think is the easiest to make horsepower with? My $ is with the Cummins Rams but I'd love to hear your opinion. I suppose I've seen some big power Fords too but I'm not sure what it costs and took to get there.

      2020 plus Ford powerstroke are in our opinion the leaders in the best bang for buck we will have that video going up soon to show !

      I have a 21 Duramax, I purchased in March of 21, couldn't get a Tremor in was a several month wait through my dealership networks - I also do NOT like they are running the CP4.2 so I locked down the Ram and Silverado, the 21 Ram fixed the temporary issues with CP4 pump and went back - which I love, however it came down to aftermarket support which the RAM easily won, and the Duramax, my wife preferred the Duramax and I would have been buying a 3500 Ram which made it ride even worse. The Silverado/Denali/AT4 all ride way better, and the 10 speed is marvelous. I currently have Banks system on it temporarily and even that outruns the
      Converter in the 10 speed. I had NO idea the difference in Cost to delete, if you are going into this and plan to have "weight loss" then hands down get the Ram 3500, I say the 3500 so you get the Aisian Trans over the 68R trans. If you want power, mine with the Banks is simply the best towing vehicle I have ever used. If I was to go back, I would NOT have bought the 2500 Chevy/GM, I would have still bought the Duramax OVER the RAM, however I would have bought the 3500 Duramax, here is why: The 3500 comes with a Different Rear axle, it is larger, and due to this the Trans management allows 1st gear starts with the 10 speed and does not Limit power in 1st, in the 2500 with the traditional rear axle it does 2nd Gear starts and it limits torque (like Ram and Powerstroke do as well) in 1st gear or skips 1st gear all together. I'm sure the Aftermarket will address it but that leads me to another item, there is NO Trans Tune available for the 2020+ Allison 10 speed as of yet. If I was able to start over again, I would have spent the extra money to get the Denali/AT4 or the LTZ or High Country, I purchased a very well loaded LT but did not realize the difference in the stereo "control boxes". So, if you can find a Powerstroke 2021/22 Ford then go for it, they are deletable but expect to spend money to get a "disaster" kit or bigger money to go back to a CP3 pump, all told I would still stay away from the Powerstroke until they get rid of the CP4.xx pumps, and I would go with the Ram or Duramax, out of those two the 3500's are what I would look at 100% and skip the 2500's. Ram is the cheapest to delete and the CP3 is easier to make larger power with, I Really wish I had understood this and if my wife wouldn't loose her mind I would sell my truck for around 15k more than I bought it for - I bought March 31st and got 1st quarter deals and was the last day of the Quarter so got a stupid deal. That being said they had 5 Denali's on the lot and I could have gotten that for around 10k more when I purchased, this was simply the most I had spent on a truck at that point in time and did not realize the vast difference in on-board systems. I love my truck, and the Banks adds plenty of power, I tow around 18k 5th wheel and have no complaints, I just do not like the DEF system and want to HEAR my truck. Prices to delete have came down, but parts are harder/sketchier to get now and the whole ECU item as well as Bricking ECU's are something I'm waiting to get ironed out before I go a route similar to this setup here. I will not have weight loss and tuning done until I can get my trans tune at the same time, averaging around 17mpg mixed driving empty, and around 11mpg through mountains towing 18k currently, so nothing to complain about and I can pull 8 to 10 degree hills with good temps and no issues at all with power. Please let me know if you have other questions, I would still go Duramax now but 3500 and higher trim. The Ram 3500 is a close 2nd, followed by the Powerstroke ONLY due to the Fuel pump and how it is actually built into the block, I do not have any interest in spending 60+ thousand and having to put an "kit" on just in case a known failure point fails and takes out all my fuel system and injectors.

    I have the same truck I just bought it how did you get 37 inch tall tires on that truck like did you do a leveling kit in the front and then blocks in the rear because I mean I don’t wanna go real big with it I just want to do like 4 or 5 inch lift

      Timing over 20 past a certain number they don’t make any more power , pulse width we can’t release sir.

    Looks like I won't be ordering that stealth 67. What size 400 would you recommend as the best bang for your buck upgrade? My truck is optimized stock but I really want to start pushing it more

      Personally if you want the best bang do a compound over the stock ! We have the build scheduled in the following month!

      Fuel ! We added boost but was not making more power after a certain pressure . I was hoping more out of the fuel system . Low pressure stayed up but the high pressure could hang with the 37s.

    I was considering this turbo in a compound setup on my 19 L5p but after watching this video it seems I would be better off putting one over the stocker. Thank you for the video and in depth analyses!

    All that money for what? To void a warranty, make your truck illegal, and blow up the transmission? How much power do you need? 455HP and 910 Ft LBS of torque is not good enough? Look at what a 2002 Duramax with minimal emissions equipment produced and look at the L5P with all the equipment pretty impressive difference and no smoke pissing off everyone stuck behind you.
