- Welcome back guys!
Here’s a walk around review of the 2024 Subaru Forester (Limited), 2024 Subaru Outback (Limited), and 2024 Subaru Crosstrek (Limited). All of these have a CVT, two have the 2.5 Boxer engine, and one had the 2.4 Turbo Boxer.
What are your thoughts?

Watching your videos makes me want a new car
Thanks! It’s definitely very fun to be able to drive and be around a lot of new cars, without having to personally commit to any one of them and especially write the check for them lol. 😂
Yeah, I know how you feel, I want a Subaru Forester Wilderness, but not for what they cost anymore that $600+ a month car payment is way too much.
I settled on a well cared for 2003 Jeep Liberty Limited with 129k on it last week. It'll serve my needs for many years. It was dealer maintained, and in great condition inside and out, probably paid a bit much for it but at this point I'd rather pay more and get something reliable after a couple of used vehicles in recent years that turned out to be nothing but trouble, this Liberty seems like its gonna be a good one.
Yes, eventually a new Subaru Forester Wilderness might end up in my driveway, that is unless they go the turbo route too then I won't waste my time with one...and I have a feeling by the time I can buy one that'll be the case they'll have a turbo charged engine as well.
Great video, thanks!
I’m so glad you liked it! Thanks for watching. 🙂
So glad the Forester Wilderness is going to stay the same for another year love our 24 with physical buttons and the smaller infotainment screen
Great video. I like the idea of the OBW, but the thing that makes me nervous is the CVT in the long run.
Maintain it properly and it'll be fine...most of the problems you hear about were due to people skipping all the required/routine maintenance.
Which is the most stable on the highway? I find my Impreza to feel a little busy over 70.
I would speculate the Outback as it’s the heaviest and not as top heavy as the Forester. Mine feels totally solid at interstate speeds. But my old Crosstrek also felt quite good.
I ordered a 2025 Forester about a month ago. I have the vin number, although the car has not yet arrived. Delivery is expected in June. The vin number indicates that the car is made in Japan.
Oh interesting?? Has the vehicle been built yet? I know other Subaru websites show vin numbers but talking to dealers those specific cars haven’t been built yet, but they do have a build date. How all that works is beyond me since I don’t work for them. But I’m excited for you! What color and trim level did you go with?
@@AutomotiveAnonymous208From my understanding, once the car is built, I will get a better estimated date of delivery. I splurged and went for the Touring. I wanted Cascade Green, but Subaru discontinued the color for 2025. My second choice was Sapphire Blue, but that’s only available as a Sport. I settled for Crimson Red Pearl. Thanks for asking and your good wishes.
Crimson Red is a beautiful color! I’ve also heard they’re supposed to start showing up in June per the dealerships computer program estimate.
