The cabinet turned out really nice. That inside wood was so nice I think I would have taken the paint off instead of repainting. The color of paint you used is really beautiful.
@@XOMaCenna, so happy you've moved to Texas! Just saw your post about things you're interested in for your new home. The prices you are finding are normal in the antique shops, however, you're only a couple weeks away from the semi-annual Round Top Antique Show in Round Top/Warrenton TX. You are probably already aware of this, but I'll continue for those who don't. There will be thousands of dealers in stand-alone businesses and tents, with goods from all over the world at prices you'll like a lot better. There are more antique door dealers than you'll have time to visit, plus all the other sites. I think visiting the tents is more fun because you never know what you'll find. I'm a retired dealer myself but would be happy to share any information you might want. Shopping here is an unforgettable experience! You and your mom would love it! Hope you can come.
@@amara560 From what I’ve read they are removing the mandatory mask mandate in Texas and opening the state back up “100% percent” so I’m really not shocked about this sadly.
It was so nice to see someone recover a chair with fabric that actually looked amazing when finished. Pretty much every time I see someone do this on UA-cam I am cringing when they proudly show off their final result. Yours turned out perfectly. Beautiful.
@@XOMaCenna I just found your channel and started following. What is the name of the fabric you used for the chair? They will go perfect with my dining room chairs I am planning to restore.
That cabinet is going to fit right into the vibe of the cottage if you end up using a similar color for the kitchen cabinets - your inspiration photos are SO good and I'm excited to watch you bring it all to life! ✨😊
I discovered our channel like a week ago and I've watched all of your thrift flips already ! I've been LOVING your energy and creativity, you are really inspiring me to be less afraid to try intimidating projects !
I absolutely love how the cabinet and pair of chairs worked out. Was fascinated and amazed with watching how you work the fabric and seeing the beautiful results. I would like to see more of this work up-close-and-personal please.Thank you for sharing your gifts and talents. ox
Love you and your mom thrifting together. My daughter is 10 and I'm hoping she becomes more interested in my thrifting obsession! ❤ you and your creativity!
So wonderful to see you still doing three flips and some DIYs while you're at your parents! I am a mother and I have a 31-year-old daughter who I can't spoil because she's been in the Navy's and she was 18 and now is an officer in the Navy stationed in Japan, so I don't get to see her :-( but if you were my daughter and you did that amazing job on those chairs, which you did an amazing job on those chairs 😲😍❣️👏👏👏❣️ as your mother I would 110% give you those chairs for your new house, I would not be able to watch you do that job until it's so fabulously and keep them myself just not possible for me 😉❣️❣️ either way they turned out absolutely amazing and you did a wonderful job, you should be so proud of yourself 🤗💘❣️👍❣️ I cannot wait to watch you do the cottage and then your own house It's going to be absolutely fabulous I just know it is, because that's mother's we know these things 🤭❣️❣️❣️
Hello from France! I discovered your channel very recently and I love it ! Your are so creative and so talented. You're so inspiring to me ! Thank you for this video I love love love it ! This Cricut machine is just amazing. Love the color of the cabinet and the chairs are so beautiful. Thank you for sharing!
I was a screen printer for many years, and have printed thousands of mugs. Turn the mug (and image) upside down. The image just becomes shapes and it’s much easier to apply it straight. It helped me when I was setting up the machine, so I think it would work in this application. Hope that makes sense. Loved these projects! They all turned out beautifully! Those chairs!💜😍
I love your flips! I'm looking for an old desk to add to my freshly painted bedroom. I love the color of your cabinet and it would look great in my room.
love it. i like dark lower cabinet colors, as long as you have enough light (either natural or lighter colors) so it does 't look too dark. But, knowing you, it will look great
Beautiful job on the chair! I took a few courses on recovering furniture a few years back. You can take your projects up a notch by adding a layer of poly batting before your final fabric. It smooths out any lumps and sharp edges and makes the final fabric look a lot smoother. 🤩
I totally get the fascination with the cricut! I’m a graphics student so I use a vinyl cutter at school and I always watch it do its thing because it’s so cool
Your happiness is contagious!! The love and joy you have for everything you’re doing is magical. I’ve wanted a cricut for years, and you explained the use perfectly. Kingsley growling at the stapler was my fave! 🐶 ❤️
Dear , I would like to sincerely thank you not only for all these ideas you shared in this video but also for the positivity which every video of yours is filled with .
These were beautiful flips!!! The knob design was genius and the fabric was beautiful. Personally, I would prefer a cushion on the back, regardless the fact that the wood was spray painted and it looked perfect?! Absolutely stunning. Great job Macenna!!
I love the color of the cabinet ! Plus Cricket looks like an awesome addition to your space - can't wait to see more projects you can use it to enhance your home.
You can use the circuit to make a decal for glass. But weed (remove) the design creating a negative space. Then place on glass and use an etching material. Perfect for creating your own designs on windows and doors, especially mimicking antique or ovelyr expensive glass I love my circuit. I started a small business this past year and it's so helpful. 🥰
Thank you for showing how to use the Cricut. I have held off buying one thinking it would be too difficult to master; but you made it look so easy. So many possibilities!
On the chairs you can do a cane back too, use rope for covering the staples. Same with fabric just glue it down if you don't want to use tacks strip. Great job.
I love your original design for the knobs 😃 Made it "pop" that much more... you never fail to inspire us with your surplus of creativity, Ms. MaCenna 😉
I'm so glad I came across this video! I've been looking for a way to add gold to some acrylic ornaments I'm using as place cards for my rehearsal dinner next week and the texture of the gold vinyl you used literally had me drooling! So pretty and affordable and won't tarnish without a sealer like gold foil.
I just love your channel. Great job, especially the chairs. My neighbor threw out two brown chairs. I painted them white and decoupaged the seat. I got so many compliments! Thanks for the continued inspiration.😉🦋
You are such a talented young lady...the color you used on the small dresser is stunning as are the knob decorations using your cricket. Your mom must be so proud of the chairs you finished for her...maybe she'll give them to you...lol ...well done !
Those chairs were a steal. Love the cabinet too. The wood inside was so gorgeous, I think I would have tried to refinish at least the top back to the original wood. But I do love the color that you chose.
Cabinet - beautiful! You can also use it as a nightstand. The chairs are beautiful too but I would have left them in their natural color... very scandi.
The cabinet turned out really nice. That inside wood was so nice I think I would have taken the paint off instead of repainting. The color of paint you used is really beautiful.
I would have done the same. You can always paint it later if the wood texture isn't as good as you thought.
Same I would have loved to make it the same color as the inside and have some black metal details
I love the thrift flips and the commercail for that machine integrated into the video really seamlessly.
I love that color for the cabinets, I’m so tired of all light or white kitchens. I’m so ready for moody vibes!!
