Thank you. I didn't find out until after I ran out of string that Rapid Reload and PowerLoad are two different things I was motivated to order by the TV adds for the PowerLoad. It took me a lot of research to find some of the things in your video and get string loaded. Also you have green marks that tell you when it's aligned. Mine is less than a year old and it doesn't have those. It is easier to use then my gasoline power Stihl and quieter but it's not easy to load even after having done it a couple of times.
Thank you for making the video and for admitting your wife let you buy it. You just saved me from reading the manual. I am not too big on reading manuals
I just purchased $1,300.00 worth of Ego Tools! Mower, Foldable Trimmer, Power Head and Edger! Have 2- 5ahr Batteries and 1, 7.5 ahr Battery. Awesome Equipment! More to go Yet! Best Warrranty and Engineering/Design in the Industry! Just Plain Love Them!

I just got the Power Head with a trimmer. I wanted to see how the edger worked as I am not a big edging guy. Anyway, it looks like you need the trimmer strap to help take some weight off. That 5 AH battery is beast after awhile. Great video and review BTW!
Hi Keith, thanks for watching. The trimmer strap would probably be useful. Honestly, the weight is not too bad for the trimming that I do around my yard. I also was not familiar with the edger before buying this, but now having used the edger, I really think it's a great tool! There are more attachments available that I will most likely purchase in the future. I will see about making other videos on some of those attachments when I get them.

Always tap your Trimmers on dirt or soft surface. Tapping on bricks, or concrete will wear out the head.
I have the trimmer carbon shaft. Came with the 2.5 Ah. battery. Out of juice in 26 minutes. Don't no where they get 40 minutes of run time. Must be when you do not run at full tilt.
Is there a spot for a shoulder strap? Did it come with one by any chance?

Good question, since buying the trimmer last year late summer early fall, I've only replaced the line once. I have just under an acre that I trim around trees, walks and other stuff. I'd say that was about 5-6 trimmings ago

Yes, tapping the ground to release more trimmer string is quite convenient!
Thos or milwaukee power head system which is better more powerfull and light weight

I was thinking about buying one of these Power head versions or the dedicated trimmer with the motor at the trimmer end. Would like to see a comparison of those two. I wonder if the trimmer would be better balanced weight wise one way or the other.
