Like in a long term relationship... maybe you are ready to get a divorce, and move on.... OR continue because you already invested so much now what you gonna do?
truth hurts, but it liberates you. It will hurt but it ultimately leads to freedom and growth. In your case, it could be an example of liberation from uncertainty: you now know your limits. You can also choose to try and pass those limits because now you know where they are. It's all about thinking about it in the best way, finding the best moves in order to beat the puzzle of life. Okay, maybe I got overly poetic😂. Although this video also showcases the part of the process in which you have to assimilate what you just learned... First one was definitely heart-breaking. What an exhilarating game. At least there's always a winner, unlike in other confrontations that we can get into, in other areas of life.
Guys, Ivanchuk was emotional on this one, but at least, we can recognize one thing: this guy is still in the top 150 in the world, and passionate as a youngster. Well done! Shalom.
I remember tuning into one of Daniel's blitz streams before he went big. Within three minutes he was slamming his fists in a fit of rage, I didn't even know what happened I just wanted something to listen to 😂
He once dropped hints that he has been diagnosed with ADHD. Ofc that doesn't exclude him from having ASD (it makes it statistically more like tbf) but given that we know nowhere near enough about him or his childhood to pseudo-diagnose him, I'd say we respect his wishes not to intrude upon his personal life by making assumptions.
I feel sorry for Ivanchuk. Obviously I don't understand his psychological issues, but as a layman I find it strange that a man who has achieved so much in his chess career - world fame and many huge titles, that he can still get so upset from losing a game. I think it's sad.
He's upset because it was the 3rd time in the tournament that he had a winning position afainst very string players, but lost on time since his reflexes aren't as quick as they once were. It's a man coming to grips with aging. Blitz chess is a young man's game.
Daniel is educated and polite, but he clearly finds it difficult to control his emotions when playing. I guess that's why he couldn't reach a higher level.
It is just a game. Yes. We must try to be competitive and do our best. But, that should not make one depressed and dejected like this. Please remember to enjoy the journey irrespective of whether we reach the destination or not as planned. Here is where the Bhagavad Gita’s advice is very helpful: ‘Do your duty (= best) and leave the result (=reward) to God.’ For many unknowns have an influence on the results. But, please do continue to strive without giving up whenever one feels the result is not what was expected. All the best! 🙏
calling Ivanchuk a "crybaby" feels unnecessarily dismissive. he’s one of the most passionate players in chess history, and his emotions reflect how much he loves the game. losing a high-stakes match after putting your heart and soul into it is tough, even for the best players
Chess is so depressing at higher levels, life was good when I was 800 elo 😢

Don't paint yourself into a corner. Be free in consciousness, like the great Magnus.

In that game Carlsen lose after TWO YEARS without any losing game in classical chess.
even the opponent is sad after winning
Life was good when I was 800 ELO, chess is so depressing at high levels now that I am 850
Life was so good when I was -100 Elo, chess is so depressing at High Levels now that I am 17 Elo.
Ivanchuk ❤
Me after I lose 300 elo points in 3 days
And you started from 370... :)
Ivanchuk is one of my all time favourites.
Dubov crying when he was against Vidit was also heartbreaking
In which game he cried. Can you tell the details.
I am so glad that players are speaking about the impact of nerves at the recent world blitz and rapid play.
This was hard to watch.
Here before this got viral
Congrats! Your comment was written before this went viral. It's now worth 1000 bitcoin.

Were the players drug tested at the blitz WC? Danya was chewing his face off there.
its probably a good thing they dont allow players to carry guns in tournaments anymore

Keep original sound. Don't change
Daniel looked weird playing. All those face movements
i often say chess is one of the most brutal sports there is. especially at the top. you are alone.
MMA is 1000 times more brutal. The weight cutting alone would kill most humans.
That old man bet his house on that game
What happened between Gukesh-Nodirbek? I don't get it. Explains.
The first one broke me.
pain.
who`s the cold other guy :(( - 💙💚🧡💛 - Ivanchuck
What is wrong with Danya
Nice Video
Me too...
The other side of the human being...
And Elon says this game is pointless..what?
It's as pointless as WNBA. Sure you can watch, but we all know the big boys (NBA, Stockfish) will always win. Cute tho
Celebrities opinions are often shit
Chess can be brutal
loved seeing ding and nodirbek win that game.
I really feel the diminishing returns of contemporary life here.

Strong grandmaster level not good enough for you?
Sure a lot of losers trying to cash in on this footage.😢

Why does it even matter?
Ivanchuk has proven himself to be a big little cry baby
Ivanchuk has proven himself to be one of the world's best players consistently over the past 35+ years. He has also proven himself to be human.
Plus, he bet his house on that game…
If I was in the audience I'd be laughing my ASS off ROFLLLLLLLL that little whine-cry by Ivanchuk AHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAH
