    I'd call it the "hangover", because the engine hangs over the front and you had to been drunk to think of this.

    To make the prop shaft as straight as you can, clamp a piece of 50mm or 75mm angle iron to the shaft then tack weld it. Rotate it, clamp it again and make another set of tack welds. Remove the angle iron and fully weld it. This will get it close enough. LOL

    Propshaft. Here in America we call it a drive shaft

    • @MrHBSoftware
      @MrHBSoftware 5 років тому

      driveshaft is more used on FWD cars...usually on RWD you say Propeller shaft or propshaft....
      and i looked it up in case i was wrong because i dont even speak English

      Hugo B. That is not right. Out of all my years I’ve never heard that. Fwd cars use a transaxle and cv axels. No driveshafts what so ever

    • @MrHBSoftware

      @@gagepuffinbarger6939 dude a transaxle car is a car with front engine but gearbox mounted on the rear like the porsche 924 and 944 or the volvo 340...you are confused... on a fwd car i have heard people call driveshafts, cv axles or cardan axles...on rwd cars i have always heard people referring to the propshaft by its name: the propshaft....
      making a google search by "propshaft america" gives many results for example this: www.hitachi-automotive.us/Products/oem/DCS/PropShaft/index.htm

      Hugo B. A front wheel drive car doesn’t drive in the back. That’s why it’s called FRONT WHEEL DRIVE. There are no driveshaft. I hope you aren’t a mechanic because if you were I’d steer people away from your shop.
