Floor is a real gem. Grounded, humble, sympathetic. A genuinely nice person. It isa great gift to us all, that Floor and Nightwish saved each other, beginning with that phone call, at her sister's wedding.
Indeed.. it's one thing to be such a talented and professional singer.. but to have such a beatiful soul to go with it... I find myself smiling like a retard whenever I hear/see her.
This is a wonderful documentary about Floor's start with Nightwish. It was a match made in Heaven. And she's way too cute when crying. I've seen this many times before, and I always ended up crying with her.😱😵😭👍
The best of all is that our frontladies are no diva's like some so called stars with less achievements are. Floor, Simone, Anneke , Sharon and Charlotte are such sweethearts.
That's excectly right. I did things in the music industry for 30 years. The really big artists, the ones that made it to the top. The "arrived" ones, are mostly very pleasant and easy going. Down to earth even. That's often not the case with the ones trying to reach the top. But you can't really state that in general of course. But you're right. Our national metal diva's are gorgeous, friendly, lovely women. Down to earth, empathic , humorous. You can safely invite them to your birthday party. Absolutely.
Beautiful to see her like this. I was very lucky to meet her in person last week in the afternoon before her concert in Amsterdam, we had a nice informal chat and she let me do a photograph with her, a VERY happy fan here❣️
This was always a nice program "The Reunion" Floor Jansen was invited and it's nice to see your classmates again. Also the stories they had experienced together at school. Only know Singer-songwriter Danny Vera and Jacqueline Govaert van Krezip. Floor is real sweetheart, so humble and she loves her parents and sister so much. Very nice to see it again. Thank You I appreciate that 🌟💜⭐🥰
I'm an old boomer and I can honestly say Floor Jansen is the most likeable "celebrity" I have ever encountered. Her magic is the sound of her voice, but her greatness is that beyond her physical beauty, she appears to have spiritual beauty as well. I hope that never stops, because that means we all benefit. And yes, Tuomas + Floor = GOAT.
Floor is such a typical Dutch woman... I don't know why it hits me so hard every time I watch videos where she just talks... but she's so typically and unapolagetically Dutch. I love it. Even after everything she's still very grounded, more humble than a lot of people who have seen immense success. My bf has had the privilege of talking to her, as well as the rest of the band, backstage at an open air concert where he was working as a volunteer, helping to set up equipment and managing the crowd... I'm slightly jealous of his experience, honestly.
I'll make people jealous with this, but I met Floor last Friday, after her last solo show in the Netherlands. I also met Henk and Hannes. What i really like about her (same for Hannes btw) is how extremely down to earth she is. We chatted after the show and I seriously forgot almost that she's such a well-known artist. It felt like talking with friends, not a very famous person. So caring, humble and sweet. It was amazing! I also really like this Reunion episode. So well done. And emotional
@@rubengalarza2510 It definitely was. We waited for so long after her show, but when she and Hannes came outside they really took their time to just chat, take photos, give autographs. Floor even recorded 3 short videos, including one for one of my friends who should have joined me, but couldn't in the end. Hannes also started joking with me while we literally met for the first time that evening. Both of them are super relaxed and fun people.
I saw Floor perform on a small venue (maybe 100 people or so) with her first band, After Forever, about 20 years ago. Even then, as young as she was, she dominated the stage entirely and it was obvious to everyone present that she was extraordinarily talented and had her entire heart in it. She left a deep, lasting impression. Even though my personal tastes have shifted to other genres of music over the years, she never fails to touch my soul whenever I see her perform. As she did all those years ago. It's well deserved that she is part of this world-class band, it seems to be a great match both artistically and personally, and judging from this interview she's somehow managed to find a way to stay grounded amidst this larger than life experience. Good for her!
The reunion wasn't in Tampere but in the Netherlands. Then the host went to visit Floor at Tempere and got a special viewing place to watch the concert. I've watched this four times now and still love it. I've watched the documentary about them bringing Floor over to finish the world tour several times now too. Love that one. Floor is the best.
Now this video makes me also much more happier and thankfull that i could go to her concert last week, after almost a year what have been first the date. Great reaction again from you
Wow Highly, you surprised me there. It is great to see Floor like this. She is an amazing strong woman, went through a lot and became this metal/opera singer. I love it. Stories like this make me smile.
I love her. Every time I see her chat she is so real, so human, so NOT the diva. She is the best vocalist on earth, can do any genre, she has every right to be arrogant - but she isn't. Her blogs during the pandemic were a real insight into the mind of musicians, both her and her guests.
Floor is such a down to earth and sweet woman. She knows she is good at what she does, we call her Queen and Valkyrie Goddess, she smiles and says yes, playfully, but she is genuine. I seldom am awed by any person, no matter their wealth or fame, but with her it is so much different. She has every reason in the world to feel and act like a diva, but I never see it happening, not with Floor.
Just three days before you posted this I thought someone should react to this episode, and here you are 🤯. Fun fact: this show takes Dutch celebrities back to school to reunite them with their old classmates. This was the first (ever) year of the Tilburg Rock Academy, but Floor wasn't the main guest, because back in 2015 95% of the Dutch had not yet heard of her. The celebrity of this episode was Jacqueline Govaert (the girl with the curly blond hair), singer and writer/composer of Krezip, one of the most popular Dutch bands in the 00's. Of her classmates 3 have become famous (in the Netherlands) eventually: Nance (with the long blond hair) had some small hits but became a popular TV host, Danny Vera (singer) and Floor. Both Danny and Floor have only recently reached nationwide celebrity. Floor thanks to her Phantom duet with Henk Poort and Danny by becoming the regular musical act on a talkshow and finaĺly scoring a big hit record.
Thank you for your sincere reaction. You wear your emotion out front for all to see. I know you are not in it just for likes and subscribers. You are here because you love and enjoy what you do. Thank you . I know Floor would be proud of you if she ever meets you.
God i love her so much. Not to be crass, but can you imagine sleeping with this angel, and having her sing you to sleep after a shitty day? her husband is a lucky man indeed. What a lovely person she is.
Floor Jansen made it through her depression burnout because she has so much support from her family, Has for her is solid and to mention that when musicians compliment other musicians that close to them that is quite something special and absolutely no ego trippin here
I love her parents, you know where she and her sister got it from. I did ballet as a kid and we'd perform every other year in a theatre, very strictly hobby stuff just for fun but my grandmother informed me my mom was dabbing her cheeks too watching me dance. I'm sure it's lovely seeing your child like that no matter what level they are on. The whole audience was practically all parents and family so I'm sure many did get moved.
Nice reaction m8, as you liked this you should definitely consider watching a documentary called "Soaring Highs and Brutal Lows: The Voices of Women in Metal" it's pretty awesome and very Floor heavy for obvious reasons.😉👍🤘
I am sorry that this made you cry. I hope they were happy tears or tears that brought you peace. I am glad that you enjoyed the video! I truly appreciate you much love to you!
This TV show is actually called De Reunie (Dutch for The reunion). And the Tampere part is added just because her parents traveled to Finland (from The Netherlands) for this concert to see their daughter Floor perform for such a huge audience. They are so proud of their daughter! From Dutch band After Forever traveling around the world in relative small venues to now performing at the biggest of concerts in the world as frontwoman for a Finnish band.
I saw her first with After Forever, pretty much by accident on a festival. I didn´t know the band before. I liked it, but Floor stunned me. I was so happy to see her as front singer of Nightwish later, after I kind of lost After Forever from my radar, I didn´t even know they vanished for good.
It may have escaped your notice in the beginning of this segment but you had a shot of one of her classmates back in the day, Danny Vera, who recently had a massive hit.
Thank you for your reactions! They are very enjoyable (not just Nightwish but ALL of them!). It's probably too long (2 hours) to do a reaction but if you haven't watched it already I HIGHLY recommend the video "Please Learn the Set List in 48 Hours". It's a documentary about the transition from Anette to Floor. It's in Finnish with English subtitles but it's really great and I think you would really like it. Here's a link: ua-cam.com/video/vhExkmWKMEU/v-deo.html Keep doing what you're doing!!
The band exepted her and then started to "collect" stuff for her... everywhere they went they stole signs, buckets of cleaning personell with the words "CAUTION !! WET FLOOR!" in the docu Please learn the setlist in 48 Hours" You see her getting out of the tourbus, holding a yellow bucket where a bootshaft hangs out, she did actually used the "gifts"
This video showed up in my YT listing and noticed you have a lot of Dutch related video's.. Being Dutch myself I was wondering why you are so obsessed with anything Dutch? Thank you..

Including other reaction channels that I have had on the reactions with me. Such as SimpleReacts & Texan Reacts and their subscribers and followers. I hope to continue to see you. Beautiful to see that she picked herself up, and is now in a happy place. Wish that for everyone who’s been through rough times ❤️✌️
I say a prayer for Marco everyday for him to find his happy place. Maybe once again on stage with his brothers and sister.
When she cries we all cry. She is a beautiful soul. Greetings from Alabama 😎
Beautiful person, down to earth but still able to enjoy everything she does to the fullest. Love it.
