This was an absolute pleasure to watch! You guys are pretty intense, that couloir entry was dicey!!! I appreciate the all the footage you captured, it’s tough to pull out the camera when you’re tired and things are going great. Such an awesome result. Great work man!
Thanks Jordan! Glad you enjoyed 😄 it is really tough, especially when the fingers are already cold 😅 but it all paid off and we've been stoked on how much people have enjoyed it!!
Greetings from the White Mountains of NH! I think it’s important to remember these sorts of trips are not just ski trip, these are true mountaineering adventures. Especially in uncharted territories. We have guys rappelling into chutes and gulleys here in the Whites also, and it’s far beyond a basic day at the ski resort. I love it.
I grew up on the north side skiing the crystal lake chutes in the mid 90s on tele gear. My dad and his buddies still ski them into the early summer. At one time there were plans to put a ski area up there so there is a nice single lane paved road to the lake. Lewistown is an undiscovered outdoor playground mecca, with affordable housing and an architecturally interesting historic town.
North America is full of unknown ranges. No beta can be a blessing and a curse. We moved to an overlooked zone some years back and its been work. Five years in and success is measured in saftey not vert. Kudos to the crew for finding the lines that work! Look forward to what more you have in store!
Ok I was planning to just watch a few minutes of this cuz I am crazy busy today, but this was no cap so captivating that I was here for the long haul. Dang
Thanks Hayes! Briefly clicked on your profile and I'm very surprised we have never ran into each other, the combo of summer skiing in MT & highlining in the black hills is such a niche combo.
I backpacked three weeks in the Big snowy mtns in October 1997 Woke up to 4’ of snow overnight and lost the trail at the ridge Most challenging day I had experienced at that point
I am not a fan of AI. but what ever robot put this movie in my feed must ski?! So sick and well done. Liked and Subscribed✌️. Need more of this stoke well done 👍
Great film, looking forward to seeing what else you guys come out with! "Man what happened to the last month of my life?" Just wait till you have kids bro, I wonder the same thing about the last 3 years of my life.
I always wondered about the big snowys, might have to make a trek out there sometime. Awesome video guys, incredible production value, you guys should team up with my buddy who runs a videography company in the gallatin valley, it's called Big Cedar Media.
@@meaningfullylost do you use a lense guard when you film with the insta 360? I know that some people like to have it and others don't want to sacrifice quality and I was wondering what you did.
I personally don't, the risk of fogging is increased as well as the quality drop like you mentioned. It's definitely an expensive risk, but i need to be able to depend on my gear to capture what's happening and a lens guard make the camera less dependable in my mind. Also, snow is pretty gentle, if I was mtn biking it may be a different story.
It is! Been stoked to get several comments from locals! We started our tours in Timber Creek! So yea, we were on the south side of the range. Access looked tough in the winter on the north side
@@meaningfullylost sweet, I thought it was timber creek. We are just west of that near the Neil creek access. That's a cool video, a lot of work to make those runs!
We'll have to see... This was definitely the most unique range from last season, looking around for next season! Those are definitely not bad ideas tho!
The locators are awesome! You are definitely lose some stability at speed, but I honestly think it's worth it for how light they are on the way up. I've loved them
Yeah that’s what I thought, at least it wasn’t when I was hunting that area, there was one year the roads washed out real bad and it was closed for a couple of years until they re routed the new road!
Just great. Everytime someone posts something about "undiscovered" places in Montana then we get overrun with idiots coming here and ruining it for us locals. Why can't you just enjoy it without telling the whole world about it? People like you have ruined Glacier Park, the Bob Marshall , the rivers, heck, the whole state.
No doubt. I grew up there and skied it in the 90s.....no one talked about it, because no one needed to. We just wentout and did it.

Stoked on how this came out, love how well it captures what it's like to fully be out there.
My algorithm killed it today. Such a great video guys. Although I snowboard I love watching ski videos. Hope to see more from you!
Glad you enjoyed!!! Episode 2 is in the works right now 👀

Thank you very much! I really appreciate it 💙 more to come!
Love how you show all the hard work!! Are you going to do a gear breakdown?

Love this production, I didn't even realize this wasn't like a sponsored film or something until I saw it is a small channel, keep up the hard work!
Appreciate it bro, we're trying our best out here 😄
Paid for out of pocket, made possible by lots of walking, and Jordans commitment to wild ideas
That was a fun adventure thanks for bringing us along the ride! Well done keep it up you guys
Really excellent video. Keep this up and growth is surely to follow. Glad to be along for the ride with you guys! Cheers

Amazing production and amazing skiing! Love the stoke!
Thanks Kurtis!!
That was awesome boys! Great video and skiing!
This is ice age terrain, so cool. Production quality was amazing too!!
Yes!!! The terrain was so cool up there 😄
As a Montanan this touched my heart and made my day. They better not make the big snowy mtns a ski resort that place needs to stay a hidden gem.
So stoked to work on this! And hyped to see all the positivity and support! More to come!
Appreciate the help 🙌
@@meaningfullylost incrdible work yall

Grew up exploring and skiing these! Nice work guys

so sick!
Thank you guys!! 😄🙌
I backpacked three weeks in the Big snowy mtns in October 1997
Woke up to 4’ of snow overnight and lost the trail at the ridge
Most challenging day I had experienced at that point
Wow!! What a crazy day! That ridge can be no joke!
What an awesome watch!
This was a pretty good video and there was a lot of effort put into it.
This is insane!!
Trying our best 😅
Those rock towers I believe are up timber creek, I have been right there glassing for deer years ago! Cool line!
That is so cool to hear! I would love to make it out there and see it all in the summer
I was thinking about Nikolai Schirmer and then you mentioned him. He's an inspiration to many skiers.
Yes he is!! Hard not to be inspired watching him ski
this is awesome!!
Thanks Nico!! 😄🙌
SO GOOD!
Thanks Danny! More to come!

Great video I live in Lewistown and its an absolutley beautiful place.
Yes it is!! So much fun exploring the area
Solid!!
I live in the base of the snowies on the south side this is super cool to watch I didn’t know you could ski up there never thought of it
Thanks for watching Jacob! Glad you enjoyed 😄
Hey do you guys know what you are going to use for mapping now that Fatmap is dead?
That's a tough one, onx is what I'm checking out right now
Impressive production y'all! Great episode.
Appreciate it 💙
I've skied that area plenty of times. You should look at skiing the crazy's also a great ski
Wow! Cool to hear!! I have skied the crazy's quite a bit, such a cool range as well, definitely better skiing over there
@meaningfullylost Have you skied Black Mountain above pine creek lake? One of my favorites
I have! I grew up in paradise valley, so I've skied up there way too many times, probably 20+, it's too much fun up there
sick video boys
Thanks Hayden!! Really appreciate it :)
This was great.
Thank you!
Wicked nice!
😄🙌
Love this!
great video!
Thanks Rob!

Edited: Big Cedar Media lol
This was crazy good actually
Great film! When did you record this?
This was filmed in March 2024
Guessing this was 2023 which was a terrible snow year in MT, I'd be interested to see if you did it in a better snow year how it would be.
Yes, we definitely were making the most of a low snow year
great vid
Thanks!!
what action camera do you use?
GoPro for 3rd person shots that weren't DSLR, and and a mix of insta360 x3 & GoPro Max for headcam, mostly insta360

Thanks Keegan!!
This video is amazing great editing and shit. It was like I was part of the experience
That's the goal! Trying to steer away from the hype based ski movies and bring you all into what the adventure actually felt like! Thank you!!
We live at the base of the Snowys on the south side of the mountain, this is a sick video, looks like you're on the same side?
Was your first line attempt up timber creek? I used to hunt those mountains!
It was!! Good eye!
Great video quality!
Great video, sadly strava killed fatmap so we don't have that functionality any more
Yes, this winter will definitely be interesting finding which 3d map I like best
Really nice quality
Thank you!
Frick yeah dudes
Where’s next? Little Snowys? Pryors? Big/Little belts!?
We'll have to see... This was definitely the most unique range from last season, looking around for next season! Those are definitely not bad ideas tho!
What month was this in?
This was late March 2024
Those rock towers look sweet! How do you like those locators? Just picked up the 104s.
The locators are awesome! You are definitely lose some stability at speed, but I honestly think it's worth it for how light they are on the way up. I've loved them
sick video.
Thanks man!!!
Great video gang, fill in those pits and RIP FATMAP.
If you still wanna use it set your phone to airplane mode then open it, otherwise f u Strava.
are you going to start posting skiing content more regularly?
You fellas should have drove and trekked up swimming women, I think that would have been a good option!
As far as I know, swimming woman is private access nowadays
Swimming woman is definitely not private access
Yeah that’s what I thought, at least it wasn’t when I was hunting that area, there was one year the roads washed out real bad and it was closed for a couple of years until they re routed the new road!
Experience is what you get, right after you needed it. I love your muscle and guts. Stay well men!
Haven't heard that one! I like it. Thank you for watching Daniel!
cool video
Appreciate it!
when is this
End of the season last year
End of March 2024!
I wanna do this one day
Make it happen!
Nice vid but you got lucky there were no rock sharks
Thanks, I did indeed 😅
go away
