I googled my problems repeatedly. Everyone told me to clean out the audio port with a toothbrush, but despite repeated cleans it never worked. You were the only one to suggest a toothpick. That literally fixed everything. Cheers Trevor. You're a good man.
This video did help thanks a lot.. I put the noise cancellation setting off, restarted the phone and also cleaned the gunk. And now I can hear the caller clearly
I bought an used iPhone,and I had the same issue, but in the end I discovered that the issue is caused by the screen protector that is not adaptable and that covers the calls speaker 😅
In my case the balance of the speaker in the accessibility setting was the issue. It had to be 0.00 for right and left speakers and that fixed my ring tone issue.
When I have my ear phones in everyone always say they can’t hear me to good but when I make a video with them still connected I can hear everything just fine

Just saved my wife’s iPhone from an early replacement, you could barely hear anything through her speaker. Use a toothbrush or equivalent and scrub the speaker in all directions, don’t be shy, scrub hard, then use compressed air to blast the speaker clean. Hit the charging port and bottom speakers with the compressed air while you’re at it. A can of duster would probably work ok, but I used my air compressor in the garage

Thanks for this, just got back from At&T and they told me to clean out the port. Now it’s working like brand new.
