This song is like a time machine taking me back to 1985. Awesome song and great reaction NLT ! I just saw The Eagles in concert last month and they did this song in concert with Don Henley singing it and it was fantastic as was the whole concert. The Eagles are iconic and if you get a chance to see them live, it is epic !!!👍

Yes, they are! Saw them in Hampton Virginia, in what was to be their “Farewell Tour”. So it was absolutely phenomenal to watch this final concert! We were still high, thinking this would be the LAST time! Front row seats!!! ♥️Little did we know that we would be blessed with more!

Yes! My favorite concert ever! We also attended Don Henley’s 70th birthday concert. So many great artists were there and performed with him. Stevie Nicks, other Eagles, etc. very memorable for sure

He's a heavy weight. If you've reacted to anything from the band "The Eagles", you've seen him. He's the Drummer and Singer. Good songs by him to react to would be "Sunset Grill", "All She Wants To Do Is Dance", "Dirty Laundry", "Heart Of The Matter", and "The End Of The Innocence".

Hotel California is just trash. I don't know if I hate it because it was so over-saturated on the radio when I wanted something upbeat or if it just induces a sad hopeless feeling instead of a positive message. It just seems like it has been playing on the radio while countless people slit their wrists and settled in for a warm bath or hung or shot themselves. I have no need to ever hear that song again.

...this is one of my all time Don Henley favorites...top drawer production here, a haunting tribute to a past love, and such tasty haunting guitar licks, and of course the voice. Henley has so many great songs under his belt, both during, and after the Eagles, I couldn't list them all.

Don Henley and Glenn Fry originally worked together as part of Linda Ronstadt's band, and formed the Eagles shortly thereafter. This song is Don Henley after the Eagles split and before they reunited. If you haven't listened to Linda Ronstadt, you should. She's got music in several different genres and a powerhouse voice. Both the Eagles and Linda Ronstadt experienced enormous success and are GOATs in the music world.

One of my favorite songs of all time. Period. Don Henley vocals are timeless whether with the Eagles or as a solo artist.

Mike Campbell wrote the music and played the guitar and everything, I believe, and co-produced it with Don Henley (I think), they definitely worked it out and recorded it together. 2 rockers from 2 legendary bands, and the best LA, west coast, beach, Sunset blvd drive song ever. I have been wanting to use this song for a night time driving Timelapse video but he kept on blocking it worldwide. I might do a test upload to see if he is still blocking it. He's only hindering himself from the younger generation if he continues to block videos that has his music.

This video broke the mold of which music were being made , which were colorful coreographed videos with visual effects and the main artist or group on screen for either the whole video. This one compells the viewer to watch and get inmersed in the story. The director shies away from having the singer ( Don Henley ) appearing on screen at all times and makes him look like more of a storyteller. You find yourself trying to understand what each image and lyric of the song means to understand the message, which was something that the average music video at the time didn't do because they were made for promotional purposes. This one was made for art and there hasn't been another one that has equalled the leve of excellence that this one did.
